Lakeside Physical Therapy consists of a family of 4 offices across Sussex County. Our founders, Dr. Metodio "Pampi" Pamplona, PT, DPT and Rowena Pamplona, PT, DPT, husband and wife, earned their bachelors in Physical Therapy from Our Lady of Fatima University (Valenzuela, Philippines) in 1999 and their Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Dominican College in 2018.
After immigrating to the United States in 2000, they set their sights on dedicating their services to the communities around them. Their devotion to health and wellness soon culminated into the formation of a physical therapy family - that grew, and grew, and grew!

Services
Pampi is the head physical therapist at Lakeside Physical Therapy Laurel and Astra Care Physical Therapy Georgetown. With his deep passion and commitment to his career, he enjoys working with patients and leading them through their journey back to health. But along the way, he assures your stay with us in therapy will be filled with probably too much humor.
An initial evaluation is typically 1 hour; your physical therapist will take the time to fully investigate your circumstance to determine the best plan of action. Follow-up visits will depend on the treatment plan you are assigned, though they are usually between 45 minutes to 1 hour. This will depend on the PT's initial evaluation.
The Wellness Program is offered to graduated patients who have met their physical therapy goals but would like to maintain a healthy lifestyle through the full use of our physical therapy gym under therapist supervision. Wellness patients are provided an exercise regimen by the physical therapist that is flexible to patient preference.
Our offices are excited to begin this new chapter in our journey to wellness - we are now offering home physical therapy services to the communities of Sussex and Kent Counties! Our therapist, Pampi Pamplona PT, DPT will be delivering home pt services outside of the office. We will be covering most areas of Sussex County, and households in Milford and Harrington of Kent County.
All were sympathetic to my needs and recovery process, they paid attention to detail as well as my comfort and progress. I was in a lot of pain from a shoulder injury. Pain level was about a 9.5. After exercise, laser treatment, and ultrasound, my pain went down to about a 1-2, and my mobility has increased tremendously.

Every staff member is friendly and very helpful. This is my first time coming here for physical therapy.
Every time a client walks in, the staff welcomes them. They have helped me to learn how to walk properly after I had an injury to my ankle.
The old saying “ first impressions are last impressions “ and the kindness and support this staff gives is remarkable.

I have been acquainted with Lakeside Physical Therapy for several years but not as a client. I knew that when I had questions about pain in my lower back I would contact them. "Popi" who is the owner is a no non-sense physical therapist who gets to the problem, gives counsel, and sets up a program to effectively bring healing to the issue. In my case he and I agreed there would not be a need for further visits, and I could follow his protocol on my own. Written correspondence was sent to my email with simple clear explanation of my symptoms and guidelines for the solution.

The entire staff is friendly and fun. You may be there because of an unfortunate situation, incident or accident, but they make therapy more bearable. They are patient, kind, compassionate and fun. They greet you by name and with a smile. I'm glad I chose Lakeside Physical Therapy as my place for therapy. They have become like family!!!
