Studio 18 is the finest Dance Studio in South Jersey, in the Atlantic City area, and is located on the second floor at Greate Bay Racquet & Fitness club in Somers Point, NJ. We have three amazing dance spaces, the Sonrisa Ballroom, The Greate Bay Room, and the Trocadero Room. Take a break! Before or after your lesson relax in style in our "Dancing Frog Lounge" overlooking the beautiful Sonrisa Ballroom floor.
Whether you take your lessons together with a partner or opt to partner-up with one of our Ballroom dance instructors, learning how to dance at Studio 18 is easier than you may think! Our fabulous staff will have you learning how to dance in no time. Before long, you could be dancing a beautiful Waltz or Foxtrot.
The definition of "bachata" meaning something like "a raunchy party." This is why a number of ladies will only dance bachata with their known dance partner(s), and not with a total stranger who may have approached them for a dance, for the first time. Now that we have your attention, here's the good news!
Bolero is essentially a blend of "smooth" and "latin" ballroom dancing! Thus; Bolero tends to be a favorite. In the broad world of dancing, Studio 18 is truly the only 'Full Service/Full Spectrum' dance studio, around! New York City is said to be the birthplace of hustle, at the beginning of the 1970's. The dance became so popular, and spread throughout the entire world, so rapidly, that today; there are several versions/styles within hustle itself.

Studio 18 provides clients with excellent dance instructors. Muhammed Karagoz is a world class champion. The studio is new, beautiful, state of the art located on Somers Point Mays Landing Road in Somers Point, NJ.
The weekly dances draw some of the best dancers in the south jersey area. I find the lessons - beginner and intermediate - a great learning experience. The New Year's Eve party was excellent.
