Services
JAZZ - is a free-form technique set to today's popular music. Emphasis in each class is placed on floor stretches, isolations, across the floor combinations, and highenergy dancing. Professionally choreographed jazz pieces are presented to each class. TAP - teaches a sense of rhythm and timing, develops an alert and thinking mind, and improves coordination.
Have a little one that starts movin' and groovin' when they hear music? This is the perfect class to introduce them to the wonderful world of dance and let them find the joy in movement and music with Miss Melanie. Creative movement, fun songs, and learn about all things dance in this 45 minute class with Miss Melanie.
Please be sure that you come to class with your hair pulled back in a dance bun or pony tail. Dancewear and dance shoes are to be worn for all classes. All dance shorts are to be worn with tights. All ballet and pointe students must wear leotard, tights, and a ballet bun to class. No exceptions. All belongings must be labeled and carried to class in a dance bag.
A scholarship in her memory will be given to a student who exemplifies all the same hard work and determination and love of dance as Maggie before she was taken to heaven. Maggie's memory will forever live on in our hearts, in our home, in the studio, and in our prayers. This award recognizes the student who best exempliflies excellence in all facets of dance.

Leslie’s Dance Studio is such a wonderful studio!!! I have been a student at this studio for 10 years and I love this studio so much! The teachers are so nice and helping, and everyone in the studio is so kind and respectful. If you are looking for a studio to send your child, this is the studio to go to!!

The best dance studio this side of NY, family ran dance studio with the top of professional dance instructors. Taught with a great combo of professional skills and kindness. My experience with Leslie Dance Studio runs over twenty years from my girls to their children and more children to come And to Top it off the show at the end of the year is of "broadway quality" every child shines and always made to feel like a Star

We have had our kids in Leslie's dance studio for over 4 years and couldn't be happier with the results. Both Miss Leslie and Miss Sarah Jane are not only unbelievable, at teaching the technicalities of dance, but they both are examples of people who care about each and every one of their students. Both are professionally trained and are extremely personable. Every time I drop my children off at dance, I know that they will not only be improving as dancers, but as people and young adults. I am comfortable having Miss Sarah and Miss Leslie as role models for our kids.They are teachers who the children

I ve been taking my daughter to Miss Marilu Dance Studio in Brigantine NJ, recently she retired and close the Academy. She referred us parents to her sister s studio in Margate NJ, Leslie s Dance Studio. A bunch of us made the effort of driving 40 minutes away to come and enroll the girls in this Studio since it was recommended by her sister. If you are any kind of minority be prepared for you and your child to be discriminated, Black, Spanish,etc. If you are not caucasian you and your child would not be welcomed. After paying the registration fee and the monthly fee my daughter proceeded to attend
