I found them on Nextdoor after Pest Control tech told me that the bottom part of the garage had holes that the mice might be coming in from. The garage tech came, and he said that he would replace it. I told him what his thoughts were on the garage door cause it was old. He said it was starting to crack. He gave me a quote for a new door. He also stayed a bit later, fixing the garage door until I got the new door. A month later, I put in the request for the new garage door.
Another tech came, and he was just as professional as the first one. He replaced the door, and I am loving it.

THE BEST EXPERIENCE I have ever had with a service company in my lifetime. I don't know what Jorge is paid, but he is worth his weight in gold. So rare these days to find a person who takes pride in their work, is highly experienced, professional, knowledgeable, efficient, has excellent communication skills, and is happy to be there to help. Sigh...I somehow backed into my garage door while it was half way up or coming back down - don't ask me how. I called Academy Door at 10am, they were here by 2:30pm. A courtesy call before they arrived at 2pm. Mario came with a mask on. He told me that it didn't need replacement. He said the joint was in good shape. He pushed it in from the outside. He lubed up the joints and rail (and did our other garage door as well). We installed these doors with them in 2006. Highly recommend. We thought we were going to have to replace at least a panel and joint! Mario was courteous and efficient

Definitely recommend Academy Door and Control Corporation. I backed into my garage door while it was opening and bumped it off the track and the springs. I called Academy Door in the morning, the lady who answered was very friendly, and they were able to schedule something with me the same day. The guy who came was also super friendly and fixed our door within an hour or so. We are very satisfied with the work and customer service. Highly recommend.

I have been a customer for many years. Recently had my unit serviced after 17 years of continuous service. Expected a huge bill, but the repairman looked over the system and determined that only minor repairs were necessary. Appreciated the honest look. I would not have known the difference. I called Academy on a Monday morning about a double-wide garage door that was about to self-destruct from jamming. Cindy was courteous and friendly, and she scheduled me for a service call later that same morning. Within a couple of hours, Al was at my door. He quickly identified the problem and the very affordable fix. In addition to replacing a couple of pulleys, he also installed safety cables in both extension springs. He inspected the whole door assembly and lubricated all of the rollers. In an hour everything was working smoothly, for a long time to come, I'm sure. They were great

This morning Academy Door installed a new garage door opener and I have to say that the entire process was great. This includes the initial contact with the office to order & schedule the installation. The price was fair and reasonable. The technician arrived on time, did a fantastic installation, and answered all my questions. This is the 2nd time I've used them and I would definitely use them again. I highly recommend the Academy Door & Control Corp.

A couple of good things, to be fair:
- Company had quick initial response and was able to come out for both initial appointment and follow up quickly.
- during the sales process, very fast responses to email.
- Installed a good product
Now the problem:
- Technician Rob advised that they would apply the $130 initial fee to whatever subsequent purchase we made (new unit)
- I spoke with Alan Greenberg to coordinate installation, and confirmed this detail.
- Second technician advised after install that this would be taken care of by the office.
- We were charged the full install

We just had our new garage doors installed today and we are so happy! Our neighbors had used Academy and we really loved their garage doors, so we set up an in-home quote and they came the next week. They quoted two options for me, one more-expensive, beautiful set of doors and a second less expensive, but still really nice set of doors. We ended up choosing the less expensive ones. They did not disappoint. The quality is great and the installation went perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend Academy.

Some of the most professional contractors I've met. I have an old garage opener that sits on a rail that needed to get cut to fit. Another contractor came through and was completely clueless. I asked around my neighborhood and discovered that Academy Door was everyone's go-to garage door company. I called Academy and they were able to get a tech at my house the next morning. The guys were quintessential pros. Everything works perfectly now. I can't even hear my door close, it's that quiet. I'll be using them again and will be recommending Academy to all my friends.

Your garage professional, Al came to our home at 11 pm this evening to fix our garage door spring so we could open and get out of our garage. He was professional, fast, courteous, thorough and knowledgeable. We are so grateful. I recently had to deal with an issue where two different pieces of my original 4 year old garage door equipment had broken. After finding out from the company that manufactured the equipment - Overhead Door - that they would replace the two pieces for around $200 total - and I would only get a 30 day warranty on those two parts - I was livid.
Two different friends recommended Academy Door & Control Corp. So I went out one Saturday to visit them - be aware, they close at 1:00 pm on Saturday. I arrived at 12:45 pm - so I got there just in time.
They showed me the components they would use.
