Not returning, I picked up some food before work. super greasy breakfast tacos, found egg shells in mine which killed my appetite. But the worst part, I bought a slice of tres leeches cake & the milk was spoiled!!!! I am pregnant as hell and have been craving tres leches, I took a huge bite & that taste still haunts me! This happened literally 12/10/21 - Horrible, never going back!

I am a long time Austin resident and just recently ordered tamales from this bakery. When arriving to pick up our order at the designated time, the bakery had no record of the pre paid order.
They refused to give us a refund ( i had the receipt) and the customer service attitude was terrible. I do not recommend this bakery.

Open 24 hours most nights always a great place to stop in the middle of night and you can never go wrong with the barbacoa. all the staff is always very friendly and welcoming prices are fairly cheap the baked goods are amazing throughout the entire day. it's not easy to find real Mexican tacos in Austin but this is definitely the place to come if you're hungry for a real breakfast taco.

Wow! Stopped past as traveling from Australia and I saw the dodgy tacos neon sign which caught my attention. This place did not disappoint!
I was skeptical with the insurance and tax office in the corner but this is no frills authentic food.
The tastiest tacos I’ve ever had and the portions and pricing is great.

Can we just take a look at the deliciousness of my photos? This Mexican Bakery is THE BEST in Austin. The selection is so big, and the breads are fresh. I live way North and drive to this place for my fix. When I show up with a box of La Mexicana Bakery, the family is very grateful. The restaurant portion is also tasty. Very authentic Mexican tacos and plates. Either way you go, you won't be disappointed.
