Burge Plantation
A beautiful country venue offering the romance of both a charming farm setting as well as rustic outdoor elegance. Burge is an historic site with the traditional charm and romance of its rich past yet modern in its facilities and services. Outdoor wedding options abound at this historic 1,000-acre farm located in Mansfield, Georgia.

Wed on the front steps of our home built in 1921, under the grand oaks in the front yard, in the beautiful formal garden. Your reception will be held in and around the elegant Burge Conservatory and its covered terrace, both of which can be either heated or cooled depending on the weather. Surrounding the Conservatory and Main House are spacious lawns and gardens as well as two additional pavilions.
Services
Our mission is to offer truly professional service. This begins with an advance planning session between our staff and the host's representative. We manage the day of the event from start to finish and orchestrate and facilitate all activities as requested by host. With your guidance we want the people important to you to have a great time.
The staff at the Burge was awesome! My daughter's wedding could not have been a better experience. Everyone was so accommodating and professional. Dawn Leonetti, our Coordinator, went above and beyond from day one of the planning through the ceremony. I could not have asked for anything more. The grounds, facility, and entire crew were flawless.
Outline Ceremony & Reception details tables, chairs, linens, rental of tents, lighting, staging, dance floor. This check will be held and returned one week after the wedding once Burge staff has checked for damages to property and/or cabins. Burge does require a day-of coordinator. We will be happy to provide a list of preferred day-of coordinators.
I have had the privilege of photographing weddings at Burge for over 20 years. As a photographer I am always delighted to find the bride has selected Burge as their venue. They have continually updated their facilities and provide many picturesque locations for photography. The accommodating staff is always sensitive to the bride's needs.
He uses only the freshest ingredients, including many products from our extensive organic gardens here at Burge when in season. His philosophy: "Simple, fresh and local quality ingredients serve themselves." Andrew Featherstone, executive chef at Burge in Mansfield, is always on the hunt for new ways to introduce wild game into mainstream menus.

Just went to a company off-site here. We shot skeet and stayed in a nice lodge but what blew me away was the food. It was exceptional. When we arrived they served a lunch of pecan crusted chicken breast with mashed potatoes, "Southern" slaw, green beans and honey thyme gravy. It was a stacked dish so you got a bit of everything in each bite and it was dynamite. Dinner was the "Burge Mixed Grill" with beef tenderloin, marinated chicken breast and game sausage with braised carrots and a blue cheese salad. It too was amazing. They don't have a liquor license but allow you

Great company, great targets - big boy FITSAC targets on the back half. Amazing food and cottages.
