I’ve been seeing NP Syria Abraham for almost 5 years now. I thought I could confide and trust her with my mental health trying out new medications, being on a 30 day trial, and stressing out all emotionally, physically, and mentally to my body. Countless months we tried different types of medications that didn’t work, and would stress everything of my well being. Finally we found the right meds for me, and continued taking them the next few years. Last year of September-November 2021, Syria Abraham wanted to try something different. I tried the new medication for 30 days, and it was working

Impossible to get an appointment at this place!!! This lady ANA GARCIA seems to have control of all the calls and gives preference on people. "Thanks God " there are so many options available and I can go see another Doctor. These ladies are a mess!!! The Manager cant even call back. This is not good service, its not how you treat people!!! Upsetting and disappointing!!! I wish the doctor had the decency to even call back and hear what I have to say.

This clinic is pathetic! I cannot began to tell you on the amount of stress I feel every time I think about calling to schedule an appointment. One would assume that a Psychiatry clinic would embody an absolute empathic experience. I know what it’s like dealing with mental health patients day to day as I myself would in a Psychiatric clinic. The difference between the two is that since the moment I stepped into this clinic no one in the office has seemed to care to call me back nor email me regarding scheduling a simple follow up with Surya Abraham. Her assistant Sandra is terrible with time

After reading all these 1 star reviews I am so surprised.. That has not been close to my experience at Memorial Park Psychiatry. I have been going here for several years now and never once had an issue. Scheduling has been easy, even the virtual appointments during the pandemic were super streamlined. They always send my prescriptions wherever I need them and have helped me with anything that I asked for. Dr. Grover is my absolute favorite and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I called in May and was given an appointment for August 31 with Dr. Mao. I was called August 26 and told Dr Mao had to cancel and the first available appointment was for October, nearly 6 months from my initial call. It is very rude and even irresponsible of Dr. Mao to put her patients on hold for 2 months due to her own scheduling incompetence. I do not feel like my mental health is being taken seriously by Dr. Mao or this practice.

TLDR: If I could give good office one star, I would. The doctor doesn't remember my diagnosis or prescriptions or dosages. And the office never answers the phone, sent in the wrong prescriptions, and will cost you money by sending you the wrong prescription.
Go literally anywhere else.
Michael Abiodun is who I saw, and every appointment I have had to remind him of my prescriptions and dosages. I even had to remind him of the fact the he diagnosed me with ADHD at my last appointment. I realize I have only seen him three times, and they were months apart, but you would think there would be patient

It's funny how the reviews are either 5-star or 1-star. I'm glad that some people seem to have a good experience with MPP, but I agree with the majority that this is a poor run practice with terrible service. Psychiatry is already a stressful health care, why add to the stress? Verdict: Avoid at all costs.
Here is my review which I first posted on Yelp:
As others have mentioned, this place is slow and unresponsive. Their phone always goes to an automated voicemail and their emails either go takes days for a response (IF they respond at all). The office staff is rude and unprofessional, as if

It is with deep regret that I have to turn to google to warn others away. It is not my style. We have been going here for over a year. Dr. Smalling is a good Doctor. That is where the compliment stops though. Over 5 different occasions I had terrible experiences with getting my sons medication refills sent to the pharmacy. They either forgot to send the order in, told me it was my job to tell them to refill the order, or simply refilled the wrong medication that was not the medication that was supposed to be refilled. This causes constant stress for my son, on my, and my family. To top it off,

Horrible. They charged us at the new patient price when my boyfriend has been going to this office for over 15 years. He also had to fill out new patient paperwork. He and I both agree that the NP he saw, Ian Smalling, didn't listen to him or ask about his symptoms and didn't help and just handed him samples of a new drug for him to try. The list price for this drug is $1200 a month. We will be looking for a new doctor and highly recommend everyone else does too.
