I have nothing bad to say about the hotel. We arrived on the last night before they close for the season. The rooms were clean, reasonable priced, and everything worked fine. Do not look at this place as a 5 star hotel it is not. It is a nice motel. The shower water was hot, the beds were clean and fresh linens on it. Will stay again next season.

I was reluctant to come here based on reviews but had little choice. Last minute plans to pick up my son at URI had me scrambling to get a place in the area that wasn't $250 or more. Prices are reasonable and much less than others in the area.
Bottom line is that the room was acceptable. No bed bugs, as others have said. No coffee either, but that's not really an issue.
You get a spartan room and nothing else.

Don't even think about staying here. Place is beyond disgusting plus they lack customer service. I called to make a reservation and I was told they have a 2 night minimum, I decided to book it although I only needed Saturday night. When we arrived there, they had given our room to someone else and I was still charged for both nights. They were unapologetic, unhelpful, rude, didn't even help us to find another motel, so they totally ruined my family vacation. They have lost a potential repeat costumer. The way we were treated was extremely rude. Avoid this place at all costs! This place

This place was terrible. There was no one in the office when we came to check in at 3 in the afternoon. We had to knock on the neighbor's door and thankfully she had a key to let us in since we couldn't get a hold of anyone. Our room had dead and live ants all over the bathroom and we would find live ones on the bed! They didn't even clean the dead ones off the floor when they came in to take out the trash and bring in new towels. It was fine to sleep for a few nights and it was quiet, but I would never stay again.

My wife and I would fall back to this hotel in a great location on Route 1 when rain, bad backs, or just plain laziness conspired against tent camping. Under different management (the Blue Dolphin?), it was nothing to write home about, but was a reliable, affordable, and CLEAN base from which a young couple could afford to head out to the beach and other summer fun.
Things originally seemed ok when the place was renamed, no issues of note and the new owners were very friendly (and remained so).
