Just moved to the area and getting my shop set up. Stopped in at Prescott Steel & Welding Supply and was immediately greeted and given a grand tour of the place. Good selection of steel though obviously some things harder to get and prices are up in these trying times. Super friendly and helpful folks. Nice scrap bin and they'll let you take it and bring it back for free if all you're doing is practicing beads otherwise reasonable price/lb. I will be back quite often.

Went in and asked for something that shouldn't have been a problem. A round metal blank. The shop had other items that where lazer cut on the wall and if anything some direction would have been nice. But the staff was honestly put out by having to answer my question. The kid at the counter had an attitude like when you ask your kid to clean his room. The other people there, 2 guys not really looking to get involved but clearly more educated on the matter brushed me off as well. I will be letting the people I know, know that this place is not very welcoming.
