Services
Westside Dance Company opened in 2017 in Overland Park, Kansas and has been home to many dancers since. We quickly opened in a short few months on 127th and Metcalf where we grew our student base rapidly. By the summer of 2019, we moved locations for a bigger studio space off 135th and Antioch, behind Hyvee.
Had the pleasure of attending their Spring 2019 recital and you can tell the talent there is bar none. The teachers clearly have an influence on their dancers and really take the time to develop their students' abilities. I have been with Westside ever since it has opened and to say that Shelby and her classes are amazing is an understatement.
Westside Dance Company offers a wide variety of classes so that every student has the opportunity to enjoy a well-rounded performing arts education. All dance students will be required to put their belongings in the cubbies in the back of the studio. If a dancer is removed from a dance for any reason, costume fees and tuition will not be refunded. Westside Dance Company cannot be held liable for injury to students during any of our classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions or on the school premises.

I have been with Westside ever since it has opened and to say that Shelby and her classes are amazing is an understatement. Everyone at the studio provides an atmosphere dedicated to learning and it’s a judgement free zone which is wonderful for those who don’t feel so confident in their dancing yet. Coming to Westside has completely changed the way I dance and I can’t thank Shelby or the staff at Westside enough for the quality training they have provided over the years.

A little over a year ago I came to Westside with one of my really good friends. We needed a new studio and thought we should try it out, little did I know that I would fall in love with the studio. Shelby pushes me more than any other dance teacher I’ve had and I am so grateful for that. I have found some of my best friends at Westside, and I would highly recommend coming here!
