Castle Home Inspections has been a thought of mine for more than 5 years and I am excited to finally make it a reality. My name is Kevin Enos and I am from Ione, California. Ione is home to the famous Preston Castle, a landmark in our community. I came up with the name Castle Home Inspections as a tribute to the rich history of our town.
Includes full web based report or Printed PDF within 24 hrs. General Home Inspections are minimally invasive and typically cover from the roof down to the foundation. Yards, decks, porches and patio's are subject to inspection by request only. Prices vary and are based on square footage and age of dwelling.
The home inspection process, from the scheduling phone call to referencing the report after closing, is a major aspect in your client's satisfaction. At Castle Home Inspections, my goal is to provide you and your client the whole package and peace of mind. We were referred to Kevin from Castle Home Inspections by our realtor at Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate | Reliance Partners, for a house in Pioneer.
He was extremely responsive to my questions, allowed me to "interview" him over the phone about his qualifications and experience and when we ran into a little hiccup towards the end of process - he was extremely patient and accommodating.
His report and photos were detailed, plentiful and provided an excellent summary of the condition of the home.
Overall, I was very happy with Castle Home Inspections and would absolutely recommend them again

In December 2020, I started to get some sort of reaction in our home that we purchased a year and a half prior.
We contacted Kevin Enos from Castle Inspections from Ione Ca. I felt our house needed inspection to try and find the source and he was willing to make the drive to Sonora Ca without any hesitancy. He asked all the appropriate questions and ones I may not have known to ask. He came for the inspection just a day or two later. Kevin is professional and friendly. He spent more than 2.5 hours inspecting every detail of our cabin. When we got there he did a walk through and pointed out all the potential issues with us. He delivered the report on time and was very detailed. We highly recommend Kevin's services.

Reddit taught me to find my own home inspector when buying a house. I trust my realtor, but it just made good sense to get someone myself to avoid the temptation of seemingly innocuous collusions or something like that.

Great experience! They were able to perform our home inspection with very little notice and at a reasonable price. Kevin was very patient and thorough. He provided a detailed list of items that were categorized in a way that we could understand and use to determine what we wanted to do about each issue. He even met up with us afterwards to go over the results of the inspection, answering our questions and going into more detail about certain issues.
