Brian was born and raised in New Jersey. He attended the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2009 in the top 5% of his class. He then went on to receive his Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters of Science in Dentistry from the University of Colorado in 2012.
From 2012 until he opened his own practice in November of 2018, Dr. Brian worked with the underserved communities of Colorado, treating the most difficult cases in the state.Dr. Brian is excited to bring the knowledge he gained during that time to help deliver the best orthodontic care to Lafayette and the surrounding communities.

We utilize the latest technology in orthodontics to make sure your experience with us is a pleasant one. Gone are the days of gagging on runny impression material. The CS 3600 Intraoral scanner can capture a perfect digital impression of your teeth every time, without all the mess. The 3D images captured with the scanner can then be printed on the in office Formlabs 3D printer to shorten turn around times.
Lafayette Family Orthodontics is looking for a long-term, responsible, and dependable person to join our orthodontic family! Our ideal candidate MUST be a team player with a positive, motivated attitude, eye for detail, and willingness to learn, cross-train and implement ideas/change. Our ideal candidate has some experience with front desk / insurance / scheduling, dental experience HIGHLY preferred.
Optimal orthodontic treatment starts when the teeth and jaw are still developing. Exploring treatment options early allows Dr. Brian Leypoldt to monitor the development of the upper and lower jaws as your child grows, making sure they are developing in a way that will provide adequate room for permanent teeth and ensure a well-aligned bite.
After your orthodontic treatment is completed, it is time to maintain that beautiful smile. Unfortunately, teeth have a tendency to move back where they started from if we don't hold them in place. That's where retainers come in. If you would like to keep your new smile beautiful forever, retainers will need to be a part of your life.
