This is more than a job for Dr. Schumacher, which is refreshing to find in a dentist. Aside from being a great dentist to me and my husband anyway, Dr. Schumacher took time outside of his normal hours (and out of his pocket) to fit a mouth guard for my husband who has PTSD from his deployments and grits his teeth at night. He didn't charge us. He cares about his clients personally and you can see that in little, but significant, ways.

Receptionist and hygienist were great. Unfortunately, Dr. Shumacher wasn't. First off, he's kind of an intellectual snob and speaks in a condescending tone to his patients. That's not even the bad part. If he were a good dentist, I could tolerate it. This was my first visit, and after x-rays and an exam he told me I had several cavaties and would need several fillings. I played along but found that hard to believe. I went for another opinion. The second dentist told me I had a couple places he could work on if he were being aggressive, but he'd rather have me come back for my next cleaning in 6

Without question the best dentist I've ever seen.. I have some major health issues, a lot for my age actually but the medication along with my usual 2-3 Mt Dews sodas a day really wrecked havoc on my teeth.. They started decaying and fillings started falling out almost all at once.. I am embarrassed to smile, I don't even let my wife see my teeth which is hard because I always had a good smile and everyone wants to smile right? So I went to a dentist a couple of weeks ago and got lectured about my dental hygiene and it really made me feel uncomfortable.. So a family member of Dr Schumacher, and
