Staff Connection

I was struggling to land a job amidst the covid crisis when I found a listing from Staff Connection. I was immediately charmed by their staff. I would call, text and email and they’d get back to me with detailed answers almost immediately! I have been with other agencies where you fall through the cracks or get sent the same mass job recommendations as everyone else. Not here. They’re personable, they’re supportive, and they want you to thrive where you land. When I came to them with concerns about my previous placement, they did everything they could to find me something that fit my needs

I first moved to LA in September of 2019. When I first moved I contacted as many temp agencies as possible. If you've heard of it, I applied. None of them were able to find a temp position for me...until I discovered Staff Connection. They were able to place me at a company within 2 weeks and after a few weeks of hard work I was told of an open position that I should apply for. I applied to the full time position and got it. None of this would be possible without Staff Connection. I can't recommend them enough!

I applied for a job unknowingly through them and once that concluded I’ve had to track them down for updates on available positions. As long as I don’t contact them they aren’t contacting me. Now that I see the other reviews that include racial disparities I suppose I understand why. I also experienced a lack of communication during my assignment. I always felt as if I was bothering them when seeking clarification on my assignment.

I requested an Uber to be provided because I went into work unscheduled due to a lack of communication. No one on job site or from Staff

I am beyond grateful for what this company has done for me. The second I walked in their door I was greeted with the utmost professionalism and care. Diana, Nikkie and Ofelia were always so attentive to what I was looking for and made sure I found that perfect fit. I had an amazing experience with the ladies at Staff Connection. I was already aware of how contracts worked and when I transitioned from San Diego back to LA, I was able to find a secure job and was converted to a perm. employee. Never had issues with pay, communication, overall they did a great job from start to end!

I had been job-searching for a while hoping to find a temporary position while applying to graduate programs. The 3 women are rude, went in and they are supper short and no experience. They didn't have people skills and didn't budge on the info. Called to get info. Keep wanting me to go in. How do you not have information for me over the phone? This is bad business practice. Not everyone can go in, what if I am wasting my time? Staff Connection is the 3rd agency I've been to recently and it is the first one where I was treated as more than just a number. Over the last few months, I had a number of horrible experiences with other agencies not calling me back or trying to send me to jobs that I had expressed multiple times I wouldn't be interested in. Staff Connection took the time to get to know me better, understand my needs, and actually cared about finding a job that would be a good fit for me. They placed me with a wonderful company and I could not be more grateful to Nikkie and her team.

Will email you (not call) the day before an assignment is set to begin, after you've turned down other offers to advise they're pushing off the start date 2 weeks. For a temporary position! 'Sorry for any inconvenience.' Will not have good info re: parking either. Do not waste your time.

The best agency I have ever worked with! From the very beginning (over 1 year ago) I have worked with Nikkie, Adrienne, and Ofelia on different occasions and each interaction has been extremely pleasant. All of these ladies are amazing and have been so patient and transparent with me while assisting me in my job search. This review is for Nikki, Ofelia and everyone at LA Staff Connection. Back in February I was referred to an online post for job seekers and in less than a few days I was interviewed. In less than a week, I had a job opportunity. I know it doesn't always happen that way, but the timing was just right since another candidate was not responsive after she was offered the job. I loved the staff here! Nikki took a lot of time to give me advice about how to proceed with my career path. Adrienne and Ophelia were warm and communicative. Even though I' m fairly new to this agency, I had a good interview with Adrienne, and the people at Staff Connection are very helpful and kind.

We used Staff Connection to fill several positions within our office. The candidates were highly qualified, professional and presentable. Two months ago I went in person and signed up for services of this employment agency, as I was initially impressed by all 5 star rated reviews on yelp. Even though I have a lot of experience in banking, call center and customer service I was told they work with boutique (local) employer and job openings come and go depending on need of Employer, to check in weekly. I had such an amazing experience with Staff Connections! This is the first Yelp review I've written, and the team at Staff Connections is well worth the review. I sent in my resume after a few months of looking for work on my own after moving to LA, and within a few weeks I was placed as a Temp at a company that ended up hiring me full time. My goal was to find a full time position getting administrative skills, so it was nice to have the team to vouch for me in a way that I normally wasn't receiving after sending in applications on my own. This the best staffing agency I've ever joined. Nikkie and Orilea are very warm and professional. I really appreciate their personal touch. They get to know you are as a person and professional. They match you up with companies where it's a good fit for all parties.

The two women who are running this 5 star agency spoke down to me and disregarded my accomplishments. I felt like a loser after a 10 minute speech from Orilea doubting me and rejecting me. I doubt I'll hear from them and frankly don't care because I was so put off. It is a loss for them because I am a dedicated worker.
