Internal relief valve minimizes excessive pressure build up when the discharge line is closed prior to stopping the pump. Mechanical seal comes with a silicon carbide seal seat and is easily replaced by removing the cover. Corken's positive displacement sliding vane pump, known as a Coro-Vane(R), is an excellent choice for propane, butane, and agricultural ammonia applications.
Balanced mechanical seal with silicon carbide seal seat is easily replaced by simply removing the cover. Continuous duty motors are fan cooled and have sealed bearings to ensure years of performance. Optional 3/4 NPT connection can be used for easy installation of bypass valve system or alternate discharge port.
Self-lubricating PTFE piston ring material and step cut ring design deliver maximum performance and longevity. Many LPG (propane & butane) and agricultural ammonia piping systems do not have ideal conditions for net positive suction head (NPSH). As a result the poor NPSH conditions lead to excessive pump maintenance.
Self-lubricating PTFE piston and rider ring material deliver maximum performance and longevity. Inner oil wiper rings, inner packing, oil deflector ring, middle packing set, and outer packing set deliver oil-free compression. When the pressures and capacities of an application are beyond the capabilities of a vertical compressor, Corken's horizontal compressor is the next option.
