Doctor Derek is the man. I've been going here for a little over half a year at this point, and the progress I've made has been night and day. They take x-rays periodically to track progress and provide lots of stretches and activities to do outside of adjustments to make sure you're always feeling good.

I have been going to Atchley chiropractic for many years. I have benefited greatly from their skill and ability to keep me feeling great! Up until recently I actually enjoyed going in to see them. The office staff refuses to wear facemasks in spite of state regulations, The ladies tare very clear that they are not going to wear masks. Unfortunately, this has really shaded my experience. I have gotten to the point where I dread going in because of this. I’m not sure why such a capable and well respected practice would blatantly ignore mandates. What it feels like is they really don’t care about

I highly recommend Atchley Chiropractic for any of your chiropractic needs! Both DR Lyman and Dr Derek are very knowledgeable and experienced. I personally get my adjustments from Dr Derek and I have seen a world of difference in my mobility and agility. He listens to my issues and always manages to correct my concerns and send me back feeling great! The staff is very professional and helpful and I never wait more than 10 minutes for my appointments. If you need corrective manipulation or maintenance I strongly suggest Atchley Chiropractic.

I enjoy seeing Dr. Derek Atchley because he really listens to me as a patient. He really takes his time on listening to your concerns and work out whatever area may be in pain. His staff is also very friendly and efficient. I never seem to wait more than 10 minutes from my scheduled appointment time. What I also enjoy is his honesty on the frequency of visits it may take to see results. At first I was going 1-2 times a week when I first started seeing Dr. Atchley in 2018 and when I was not able to continue my care the staff and Dr. Atchley was so nice on getting home back in without hesitation

Dr. Derek Atchley changed my life, literally. Had persistent, ongoing back spasms that lasted for years, prevented me from exercising, constant pain, walked and stood in a compromised manner.

CROOKS STAY AWAY!!! Dr Atchley sounded and appeared to be very knowledgeable in his practice (I actually don't doubt this one bit, he did sound like he knew what he was doing). He might just be the best chiropractor in ABQ but his business model is absolutely terrible. They wanted my money before going through insurance to treat me. I have excellent insurance ant they wanted nearly $950 before billing to insurance. Honestly there's no telling what they would have billed my insurance on top of that. Keep in mind I have already meet my deductible and I have an HSA with plenty of $$$ to

I strained my lower back 2 weeks ago and still had stiffness/dull pain. I decided to visit Dr Derek Atchley after reading great reviews and having a desire to get rid of this nagging pain. After one session/adjustment it felt easier to walk and the next day I was back in the gym lifting moderate weight (had trouble picking up 45 lbs 2 days before!). Absolutely looking forward to my follow up in a couple days.

I recently started seeing Dr Derek from my friends recommendation. I was having a lot of pain and weakness in my shoulder which was really hindering my weightlifting. He put my mind at ease, explained everything, dropped some knowledge, and fixed me. I've seen him twice and my shoulder is almost 100% even after doing some heavy bench days. He's also adjusted my hip and it's feeling pretty great even though it's a hip replacement nightmare.
Great doctor and office here! Works with a lot of athletes and is very kind.
