We stayed at the Gould Hotel for the It's a Wonderful Life Festival. Great location, right in town near all the activities. Beautifully decorated and very friendly staff. The food was delicious and "Martini's Bar" aka the bar inside the Gould is an excellent location to have a mulled cider and visit with friends and make new ones too!

Surrounded by picturesque lakes, rolling pastoral hills, and scenic waterfalls the wineries of our beautiful region draw visitors from around the world to experience their award wining wines and to explore a piece of American history.

We are guests at the hotel and desperately wanted to celebrate my sister's birthday while we are in town. It was opening night for bar after 2 years closed due to the and the staff was so accommodating and happy to do everything they could to give us a wonderful night for her birthday! Couldn't have turned out better. We are so thankful!

This hotel was really just OK and it was a bummer because we love to support independent hotels. We were in town for the chiropractic college graduation. We booked a queen bed room, but it was very clearly a double bed. When I checked with the front desk, they insisted it was a queen bed. I can assure you I know the difference (we have a queen at home) and it was a double bed. The room also only had a night stand on one side of the bed, so the person on the other side of the bed had nowhere to put their glasses/phone etc so that was awkward. The sheets were an off white color which made them look

Run and book your room here now! This hotel is fabulous! This past weekend was our second time staying at the Gould (1st time last year for our elopement honeymoon) so we decided to come back this year for our anniversary and it's just such a great place to stay. Rooms are always amazing and clean, not to mention how great all the decor is and the high ceilings. This year we decided to bring our dog Theo and The Gould welcomed him with open arms. The staff is friendly and great and overall just such a perfect place to stay while visiting the finger lakes and exploring the surrounding towns.

We found the Gould Hotel to be an excellent place to spend a night in Seneca Falls. The building is old, but it has been elegantly kept up. The rooms are clean and the baths are well appointed with classic small-tile floors and old fashioned looking fixtures. We do recommend booking a larger room; the small rooms are too small if they contain more than one bed.
The staff people we met are friendly, intelligent and competent, and they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Here I’d like to give particular thanks to Bob and Megan. The other staff people we met in passing

This is more of a 3.75 and here's why.
Everyone who worked there was super nice!! Big points for the people! The bed was comfortable and bathroom was upgraded and clean. Loved the blackout shades!
The breakfast was confusing. There was a table of carbs (apples, bread, cereal, etc.). It would have been awesome to have a protein option. (Hard boiled eggs would be easy) The table also had items to be microwaved but no microwave.
Unfortunately, the town didn't have much to offer. We would stay again if the town dinner options increased. It made it very difficult if coming back late from driving

Nice boutique style hotel. The rooms are basic but comfortable. I wish there was a chair besides the desk chair and a refrigerator. The Bar was closed and restaurant limited to breakfast only with a limited menu. the downtown has limited options for meals but enough. A quite town for nice Finger Lakes getaway.
