Appointment late morning on Monday. Two prescriptions that I was directed to a specific place to fill. That business called back with the news that the prescribed treatments were $50 each for a total of $100. Turns out one of the two is covered under my insurance for a better price - $22 vs. $50. The second could not be identified so I called the office to get more information. Left a voicemail with details on Monday afternoon asking that the one med on my plan be called in to a local drug store to be filled and if the other med has a generic counterpart or something comparable that might be covered

I can't say enough great things about Dana Hess, and this office. A handful of my good friends have been seeing Dana for years and I finally decided to go. I went in first for Botox last year, I'm 27, I had a few deep lines in my forehead and wanted them gone. I also knew I wanted some preventative units in whatever areas she recommended. Dana got rid of the deep lines and was conservative with the rest of the units. I go back every 4-6 months for touch ups. My face is tight and fresh, not "frozen". I still have some movement in my eye brows which makes it look very natural

Not a good place, the office is very unorganized and you don't even get to see a doctor. What's the point of scheduling an appointment with a dermatologist and when you get there you are seen by a physician assistant?!. The appointment was rushed and they didn't seem to be knowledgeable or seem to think my questions about my health were important. Please don't go here!

I did not have a good experience at South Tampa Dermatology. I waited 25 minutes after my appointment time and felt the doctor was incredibly rushed. She spoke very fast and did not explain things in a way that I could understand. If you do choose this practice, make sure you don't let them rush you out of the appointment because "they have other patients waiting." You are paying them for the appointment and they should give you their full attention. The nurse was pretty good.
Although I did like that she thoroughly checked my body for skin cancer- she prescribed me a strong face

Abigail is amazing, Felicia is amazing, Kimmy is amazing.
For over a eyar I have been struggling with severe ance, seems simple enough, but this is not an easy disease to treat or understand. This nurse and her associates were so compassionate, caring and helpful! They knew exactly what to do to take care of this and to help me. This was the forth doctor I have seen aboutt he same issue, I look forward to going back and HEALING! If you are looking for a dermatologist this is the place to go!
