Our original center in LaGrange was founded in 1997, and our other three centers in LaGrange, Grafton, Oberlin and Wellington, OH opened in subsequent years.

Established in 1997, The Child Garden in LaGrange, OH is our first and original center. Director Melanie Larkins and her team are proud to offer quality, loving child care for children from six weeks to 12 years old! Here, your child will feel comfortable, secure and confident as they make friends, participate in fun activities, and learn new and exciting things!
The Child Garden in Grafton, OH is our second location, established in 2003. Directors Tammie Coleman and Amber Cadman and their team of qualified, loving teachers offer child care and programs for children from 18 months to 12 years old. Whether you are seeking preschool, before and after school care, summer camp, or daycare, we have it all!

I absolutely love this place. It has to be hands down the best daycare in all of Lorain county. They are so focused, caring and it shows in their work. They school and help with homework while allowing time for the kids to be kids. It is great for all ages! My daughter hasnt attended in 2 years but still to this day someone who worked there will approach me, ask if I'm her mom and state how much they truly enjoyed having her in class.

This is my second experience using the child garden. Both times they didn't hesitate to take my child(ren) exactly when I needed them without waiting or hesitation! My one wish was that they were closer to town so I could walk my kids there in nice days.

My child is going into his 4th year at this location. The teachers and staff in the daycare and elementary programs are the most thoughtful, caring, and observant people. They all give me peace of mind knowing while I am at work my child is not only cared for and having fun but is also safe. WE love The Child Garden!

The Child Garden is like a second family. Everyone from the administrators, teachers, children and families are very sweet, kind and caring people. I am lucky to be a part of this family. Working here is so much better than I imagined and I am grateful to our team for teaching me so much in such a short time.

My children have been cared for by The Child Garden since each of my maternity leaves ended. There is no place else I'd trust to help my children learn and grow. Both of my girls attended daycare and preschool. They were helped to develop a love of learning and their teachers always made sure they loved them just the way they were. I recommend TCG to everyone and still use the before and after care program now that my girls are in elementary school. The programs like music, Kidz Art, yoga and more make the programs more than just a daycare!
