Custom Irrigation

I've used Custom Irrigation for a few years since moving to the area. They are always responsive whether it's an emergency or non-emergency. The work is professional; cleanup is great; and they've always been able to locate and identify the problem -- in spite of the former owners doing a very poor job of installation and documentation.

Eric came and updated an old irrigation system to my new home that hasn't been used since 2007. Now my lawn and new sod is all green. Amazing how the owner himself comes to do the work.

First off I would like to say that the guys that did the work did a good job. Eric did not do the work, but he had a team of one experienced installer and two younger kids. I would just like to share that before you get any work done make sure you get a written estimate. Eric quoted based on time and materials and then left the guys there to do the work. I found that his pricing was somewhat unethical and the price that was charged was much higher than I would have expected. Once I complained he came down a bit (15%) in his price, but then threatened to put a lien on my house when I complained

Eric checked all the boxes! Outstanding service. Previously I had such bad luck with irrigation/well businesses that I had just given up. He was patient and kind but more important produces excellent results at a fair price. He will keep in touch and honors his word. If I could give him 6 stars I would. Eric and his team installed a five-zone irrigation system at my new lakefront home. Of all the firms I contacted, his was the only one that talked technical: commercial equipment, size and type of pump, filtration/backflushing, wifi controller, etc. The quote was excellent too.
The install was flawless, and their quick response when the sod people broke a few heads was second to none. I highly recommend these folks and would use them again.

I was looking for a professional company, emphasis on professional, to check out the coverage issues with my irrigation system and provide an estimate. I spoke with Eric who was pleasant; however, I found it odd that he asked me if I was ready to do the work right away as he and his crew typically show up, give an estimate, and do the work the same day. Especially with larger jobs, I’m not sure how that is even possible. I moved into a new home that needed sprinkler repairs. Found Custom Irrigation & Repair in the neighborhood through an Internet search. Left them a voice mail to schedule an appointment. It took a few days for Eric to call me, but once he got in touch with me he was immediately available for an appointment the next morning. He is very friendly, professional and appears very knowledgeable. He made good suggestions on what I should do.
