Before Cosmas Skaife's mother, Rose Marie, passed away, she shared her regret for not doing enough for others while she was alive and able. Especially during the last month of her life, she felt so touched by charities such as Hospice and Meals on Wheels for assisting her, that she wished she could have helped others the same way.
After Rose's passing, Cosmas decided to open a bakery in her mother's name, allowing her mother's legacy to be built around serving and helping others, just as she wanted. This is how Rosie's Coffee Bar & Bakery came to be. Rosie's Coffee Bar & Bakery takes pride in being an active community organization and donating to local causes and charities such as Hospice, Meals on Wheels, The Carbone Cancer Center, and Ronald McDonald House.
