Services
A professional property inspection is an impartial third party visual evaluation of the physical structure, foundation, electrical, plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, roof, built in appliances, interior and exterior walls, doors and windows. The inspector examines only what is visible and accessible.
Certified Professional Inspector: The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) is the world's largest, non-profit inspection association. I currently hold multiple inspection certifications through InterNACHI, including Green Building and Home Energy Inspections. CalCERTS Certified Rater: Certified by the CalCERTS as a Title 24 Compliance Rater.
Considering a home inspection? Santa Rosa and Northbay property owners know that buying a home could be the largest single investment you will ever make. To minimize unpleasant surprises and unexpected difficulties, you'll want to learn as much as you can about the newly constructed or existing house before you buy it.
A home contains different systems that interact with each other to provide a comfortable environment for the home's occupants. An inefficiency in one or more of these systems will result in wasted energy and reduced comfort. The term 'energy audit' is an umbrella term used to describe the different methods used to determine how much energy a home uses and how much it's wasting.
Browse through our Frequently Asked Questions about home inspections to learn more about them and what to expect. A home inspection is a visual examination of a house's structure and systems by a trained inspector. The inspector usually looks at the foundation, roof, attic, walls, ceilings, windows, doors, and any attached decks or porches.

We hired Julian to perform a home inspection for a condo we are buying. He provided a very in depth and impressive 38 page report which included photos and a description of everything he found.
We highly recommend Halcyon Home Inspection because of the value provided and affordability compared with bigger companies.
I'm sure we'll be using Julian and Halcyon again in the future.

Report
Julian didn't inspect my roof because it was too steep, I went up on the roof just recently and it is not at all steep. I got a Fidelity Home Warranty on my home that in order for anything to be covered had to be a "pre-exisiting" condition that was identified on the home inspection report. One of my burners on my range oven doesn't work, however the range wasn't tested by Julian because it was apparently too tough to pull out the range and turn the knob down 90 degress to the on position, now I will be out of pocket on this repair. Not impressed at all. I would use someone else if I had to do

Julian was very knowledgeable and professional in his inspection. He answered all my questions during the inspection and I received a detailed report soon afterward. The whole process moved very quickly yet Julian still took the time to make sure I had everything I needed. Would definitely recommend him to anyone!
