In the early 1900s, Conrad Skalman and Lars Olson began the Underwood Furniture Company. Unfortunately, Skalman passed away after WWI, so Lars took over management and ownership of the store (and changed the name to its current one). In the evenings, Guy, Lars's son, helped out in the store doing odd jobs and building picture frames.
Lars and Guy worked hard to build the business-and that was when Bob took up the mantle as well and worked hard for the Fergus Falls community. Excellent customer service and family business ethics made them known and respected throughout the Otter Tail area and community. Keith currently upholds our high standards for commitment and service to our customers as owner and proprietor.

Got a price from there first being local, was planning on using them as long as they were close in price no matter what. When I went in for the price on the sofa, I got great friendly service from Brandon! When I went to a big store they were having a "blow out sale" guess what their blow out price was $200 more! I was so surprised and happy to know they were actually giving me the best price they could, the delivery was awesome service was great, needless to say they will be my go to place for furniture in the future. I love to shop local!
