I came to this place during my lunch break and it is very handy, they do take most items except for TVs which is very accommodating. However, the lady in the office sat on her phone the entire time I was standing there and didn't even acknowledge me. She was talking about her mothers sheets that she had for sale and all of her Corel glassware and I thought was incredibly unprofessional. Time to hang up the phone and take care of customers!!!

Conveniently located and they take electronics scrap which makes them a good choice for many needs. Be aware though, they are only open until 5pm, it would be nice if they were open a bit later during the week so you could drop stuff off after work.
The service here isn't great, expect to do all the unloading yourself and then loading what you unloaded on the scale into the bins. That isn't necessarily bad but I expected a little more help.
If you are selling a bunch of scrap, they don't offer the best price in town, it pays to call around.

What a company to be involved in and support! Everybody there is more than willing to help and move at a quick pace. While not wasting my time, they were still efficient in their work and answered my questions fully. They are very friendly and paid me fairly for what I brought in. I am going to continue to support Recycle Boise with my business.

Boise Recycling on Glenwood is one of six recycling centers in Idaho run by Western Recycling. (This facility is really located in Garden City, not Boise but the Yelp page lists this as a Boise address.) Having made several trips here in the last week, I can say it is a very good place to drop off (free of charge) clean, unused newsprint stock paper in big quantities. But here's the important tip: the move they were scheduled to make from Glenwood to their new location on 1990 South Cole scheduled for July 9 has been postponed until August 1. Just a heads up.
