The Child Resource Center of Harford and Cecil Counties at Abilities Network Project ACT is excited to offer you support in all things related to early learning and out of school time programming. Project ACT has been a leading support in the Maryland early learning community for over 25 years. Our professional development opportunities have promoted and supported the inclusion of all children in their community settings.
Abilities Network Project ACT offers Maryland State Department of Education approved Core of Knowledge training in child development, curriculum, community, special needs, professionalism and health, safety and nutrition for child care professionals. Training sessions are offered in the evenings and on some weekends throughout the year.
Through LOCATE: Child Care, families can access free, one-on-one telephone counseling support for seeking licensed child care in Maryland. Our experienced counselors are eager to speak with you Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and can be reached at 1-877-261-0060.
LOCATE: Child Care Search for After School Activities provides online access for parents and children who are searching for information about after-school activities and programs of all kinds.Currently, this database contains information on over 2,200 after-school programs, including all regulated after-school programs in the state of Maryland.

Project ACT has been awarded a generous grant from the Maryland State Department of Education to offer child care providers trainings in the area of special needs. If you provide care for children ages birth through 3 years old, you may be eligible to receive Training, Technical Assistance, and Make & Take activities at over 75% off!.
Abilities Network Project ACT (All Children Together) is dedicated to providing families with the support they need to access educational services for their child in the general education classroom or least restrictive environment. Project ACT can provide support to families engaged in the IFSP or IEP process for their children ages birth-8.
