Creative Journeys Learning Center (CJLC) offers quality child care to children ages 6 weeks - 12 years. Our Creative Curriculum program of instruction is MSDE-approved to ensure your children are ready for lifetime learning from entering kindergarten and beyond; as our center is licensed through the Stateof Maryland. We are located near Aberdeen Proving Ground in Edgewood, MD, neighboring local schools and the MARC Train System (for area commuters).

Services
Each child's uniqueness is the result of interplay between genetic and environmental factors. Infant and child development involves interrelated physical, cognitive, emotional, and social changes. Rates of development vary from one child to another, but the sequential progression of growth does not.
Constructive play stimulates the imagination - encouraging creative problem solving and providing opportunities for accomplishments that help children develop confidence, self-esteem, a sense of their own strengths and weaknesses, and a positive attitude toward learning. Through CONSTRUCTIVE PLAY, children expand their intelligence - their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
At Creative Journeys we believe exposing children to the world-at-large broadens their educational horizons. We capture these moments and share them here for you to enjoy your child's educational experiences beyond the walls of Creative Journeys Child Care Learning Center. I would not recommend this facility for children with special needs my son was there for almost a year and I’m absolutely disgusted, after calling several organizations including licensing I found out that exceptions should of been made given he had a severe feeding disorder I’ve even given the ower at least two letters from Kennedy Kriger documenting this, I was told that I could not bring in his food BECAUSE the facility was on the food program no change can be made which was absolutely an utter lie it all came down to a few extra dollars from the food program monthly was it worth it for

My children were so prepared for school! The teachers are caring and loving! They treated my children like they were family. The teachers were knowledgeable and helped to aid me with potty training. My twins (4) and my 7 year old have been apart of the Creative Journeys Family since they were 6 weeks old. I recommend them to everyone!
