The Aviary Recovery Center for addiction rehabilitation has two locations-our outpatient center is located in Fenton, MO, and our residential and outpatient program is located in Eolia, MO, in the northern part of the St. Louis region. We are less than a one-hour drive from St. Louis Lambert International Airport and less than a 3-hour drive from Kansas City, Springfield, Cape Girardeau, and Kirksville, MO.
At The Aviary Recovery Center, we approach recovery with an integrated whole-health emphasis that is aimed at helping you through your recovery to become who you want to be. We are a team of social workers, counselors, physicians, nurses, and recovery coaching professionals who specialize in the treatment of alcohol and drug addiction with co-occurring disorders.

If you want to eat food swarming with flies and group in a hot barn, this place is for you. You can’t even hear what the leader is saying in the barn. Meds are not given at a specific time each day. The nurses are even leading some groups? They aren’t qualified to do that. Not organized! Chaotic. The staff is sweet and really try though. Owner is very arrogant. They even put a band around your ankle to monitor you. Bad experience!

My son went for substance abuse treatment, it is a nice setting. They were short staffed so there were issues with him not getting the treatment he needed. His roommate passed out in a locked bathroom, and my son had to break down the door and get the guy out. He said the nurses were freaking out and didn't know what to do. This was more trauma for my son, and he is the one that told me about it not the staff. Drugs ended up in the facility so many of the patients relapsed and had to be screened for drugs. The staff they did have, were not professional and he said they talked very rudely and condescending

This place has saved my life in significant ways, the people and the environment are amazing. The aviary is a beautiful place with scenery that makes you appreciate life. I will always come back here if needed and I will always recommend this place! I appreciate this place and it holds a special place in my heart.

My time at the Aviary has been extraordinary! It was truly a life changing experiences and I am forever grateful for everything they have done to get my life on track. Second time here was a terrible experience. I had been here for 30 days two years prior with a good experience. Came back to check in on my own for two weeks. Not having insurance but struggling this time the idea was to stay what i could afford and get a vivitrol shot and a good after care plan to help me be successful. At check in i was told by admissions that i was only paying per night and that the cost for 15 nights was 5000. i found out four days in that i would most likely not be able to get the vivitrol in the first two weeks so the cost of staying didn't make sense when my new insurance
