As the only skilled nursing facility in Calhoun County, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care for our community. We offer a beautiful, country living setting and we are committed to providing loving excellence.
You can be assured that your loved one will be in good hands. The staff and I have created an environment that fosters resident choice instead of the institutional style of facility routines. This style of care provides the resident the choice when they desire to rise in the morning or retire at night, what time they want to enjoy their meal, and when they choose to perform other activities such as bathing.

The receptionist, I think her name was Christy, was rude and after picking up the phone told me “you have to call back during business hours” and immediately hung up on me. I cannot speak on behalf of the place itself and the services they provide. Only my experience with whom ever answered the phone.

My parents were both residents of Calhoun Nursing & Rehab for the last 7 years of their lives. The care & love they recieved from the staff can not be put into words.
The atmosphere is always so upbeat. My parents shared a room so at Christmas time I would put their tree up and all the staff would come & visit them and tell them how wonderful it was. And of course there were the times we couldn't be there when my parents needed to talk so they gave them a shoulder to cry on.
Both my parents passed at the home. Those were some trying days each time but the the whole staff from Nursing, Dietary

As i sit here in a chair at the end of the hallway waiting for my fiancee to finish feeding his dad icecream in which maybe his last visit with him, trying to give them precious time, I'm observing the patients and the workers here. None of which realize I'm watching. The compassion and care and the sweetness would bring a tear to anyone's eyes. Walking in the door, does not appear to be your typical nursing home right off the bat. The decor, the cleanliness and well ..it smells of good home cooking, and nothing but sounds of utensils clinking. Surroundings of which usually become depressing wasn
