Archer Heights Credit Union
A credit union is a not for profit financial institution that is owned by its members. While we provide the same financial products and services as a bank, we adopt the philosophy of "people helping people" and great member service is our ultimate goal. We invite you to explore the site and contact us with any questions.

Employees of any of our SEG groups, immediate family members and anyone who lives or works in the following zip codes may join the credit union: 60632, 60638, 60629, 60652, 60501. It's easy to join. A minimum savings deposit of $25.00 is required. The $25.00 establishes your share ownership in the credit union, and you can retain your membership regardless of your employment status.

I called two weeks ago to get loan information. I sat on hold for 10 mins and gave up. I figured maybe they were busy. I went in to speak with someone thinking I would get better service. NOT!! The one and only person that can handle loans was not answering her phone in the office which was 15 feet from the teller. God forbid someone got up from their seat to get the person who might know something about loans.
Bottom line. Ask yourself why you don't see people walking in and out doing business...maybe because nobody there cares. I will take my business elsewhere.

I’ve had this bank for the last 6 years. My mother has used this bank her whole life. If you want a bank that only does one thing well this is the place for you. But if you want a bank that has a helpful loan department... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I’ve never met a more miserable, unhelpful loan officer. I closed my account went to a new bank and had a much more productive conversation with an actual helpful loan officer. Thank god I left.
