Services
Ensuring CESSWI/CPESC certified inspectors and applying diligent focus on our responsibilities for stormwater quality during construction activity gives us the ability to achieve higher levels of compliance and ensure that these obligations are not overlooked. Through continued education and constant communication between inspectors and site managers we guarantee compliance at each of our sites from start to finish.
Many, if not the majority of SWPPP implementations are ineffective at protecting the environment and represent a significant waste of money. Poorly conceived Best Management Practices (BMPs), even poorer installation techniques and untrained labor combine to create only the illusion of compliance-an illusion that can be quickly shattered by a regulatory compliance officer.
Weekly SWPPP compliance inspections (by qualified, certified, third-party inspectors) on the 7-day cycle offered under TPDES regulations. All of our inspectors are CESSWI certified to be in compliance with TPDES, TCEQ, SAWS, or city regulations. Ensure that the findings of compliance inspections are filed on the job site SWPPP record keeping system and issue resolution discussed with the Project Superintendent.
The LEED certification process underscores the importance of Storm Water Pollution Prevention during construction activity by making compliance with these regulations one of the few prerequisites to certification.
Given this emphasis, and the documentary requirements imposed by the certification process, we offer several enhanced 'green building'-specific services to the CAP program in order to assist the project management team in meeting both the spirit of the green building endeavor and the requirements for USGBC LEED certification.

Determine how the project site fits into the surrounding topography, how the area to be disturbed fits on the property and what problems may have to be dealt with along the way. Gather all pertinent information required to develop the project SWPPP documentation far enough in advance to ensure that it is complete and in place, along with signage, postings, and BMPs, prior to the commencement of construction.
