My boyfriend and I just moved to Asheville and needed a place to stay pretty quick. Everywhere seemed either too expensive or did not have a place open in time. I talked to Austin and he efficiently got us a place here. He was very prompt with any emails or calls I had and I appreciate it very much. We love the location too - not too much in the city and not too much in the outskirts - plus the mountain views here are gorgeous!

This place might as well be section 8 housing but they charge a ridiculous Asheville price.

All in all it’s a decent place to live. The only down fall is, if something breaks know that it will be 2-4 weeks before it’s fixed. This is not my first experience with needing something done in my apartment and having to jump through hoops waiting for someone to come and fix it. My air broke down going on two weeks ago, and since, It’s been nothing but a hassle dealing with Emily and her crew. Air has yet to be fixed. We've loved living at Berrington. It was a great price for 10 minutes outside downtown Asheville! Amazing pet policy, very caring staff, especially Sharon, Austin, and Emily. Even while there was a national shortage of almost everything, they were very communicative and helpful! The only reason we left was because we were moving into a house. Highly recommend!

Management is terrible. The leasing agent I spoke to told me my unit would be ready by a certain date. For the next couple of weeks I kept asking for the lease, but he said he was having difficulties with the system and could not provide me a lease. One week before my supposed move in date I had not received my lease. Turns out the tenants in the unit I was supposed to receive had renewed their lease, leaving me with no unit. I am new to the Berrington Village Community, as of June 1st. I must say I was warmly welcomed from day 1. I first came for a tour in early April which Austin provided. He was pleasant and knowledgeable answering all my questions. I was sold on the layout of the community and views from the units as well as the amenities. I returned 2 weeks later and Sharon helped me through the application process. Her patience and kindness with my "not so savvy" tech skills was greatly appreciated. Let me start by saying this is my very first apartment and first time living alone. I visited 26 places and even made a payment at another place before I found Berrington Village. This place is THE BEST bang for your buck in the area. Believe I've check all surrounding apartments. I imagined living alone as a 21 year old girl would be difficult and lonely. I imagined the staff at whatever apartment I chose would be fairly nice. I didn't imagine they would treat me with the respect and love that they have! Sharon was such a delight in helping me find the right apartment for me. I’m new to town, and it was so nice to have such a genuinely kind person go above and beyond to help.
