We were one of the few centers in New Jersey that remained open for Essential Employees and developed a Virtual Platform to support the children that stayed home. We are currently open for all children and have the largest number of children currently enrolled in the area. We have very few spots left!

Services
We are a licensed child care center that offers an educational preschool and nurturing learning environment for children ages 6 weeks through 8 years. We believe that each child needs a safe and challenging environment to explore and experiment. The program at our child care center is designed to foster learning at each child's own pace.
I can't say enough about the East Hanover Child Care Center pre-k virtual learning program! The program was well structured, focused on key elements of the curriculum, was engaging, interactive and fun! My daughter truly enjoyed seeing her teachers and friends on a daily basis and the class provided structure to her day, which she really needed during this challenging time.
Our curriculum promotes high academic standards while encouraging independence, creativity, critical thinking and the development of sound reasoning skills. We believe good teacher-child interactions are fundamental to children's success and well-being, and that children learn best when they are actively involved in a process of meaning and knowledge construction as opposed to passively receiving information.
They focus on each child as a whole, helping them manage and understand their emotions, make responsible decisions and establish and maintain positive relationships. The Creative Curriculum is implemented in all classrooms. Our preschoolers learn the letter sounds using Jolly Phonics and Handwriting Without Tears for letter formation.
Participating child care and early learning programs are assigned a star rating based on observed quality. As a rated program, we have demonstrated our commitment to offering high-quality child care and promoting school readiness. Grow NJ Kids is New Jersey's Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS).

I come from Madison to bring my babies to EHCC because I love it so much! My oldest (almost 4) has been enrolled since we moved him to daycare 2 years ago. He loves it here! It is family owned and you can definitely feel that when you're there. There is very low turn over of teachers, which to me says a lot because unhappy staff will not make for happy kiddos! I like the curriculum and structure, balanced with free play and time to socialize and let imaginations soar. Both of my boys are quite happy here!

After nine remarkable years we bid an emotional farewell to our children’s home away from home. East Hanover Child Care Center provided a loving, educational and happy environment for our three daughters from thirteen weeks of age through to pre-K graduation. After visiting and revisiting many options for day care, EHCCC continued to rank highest on our scoreboard for cleanliness, safety, socialization, learning, and # 1 – visibly the most content children. We are infinitely grateful to the owner and staff for embracing a nurturing approach to child care and extending the emotional security
