Phyllis was born and raised in Homer where her parents owned the Inlet Trading Post - now the Bunnell Street Arts Center in Old Town. Kit hails from Scotland where he worked as a logger, groundskeeper, and gardener. His expertise has been a great boon to the Homer property! Kit & Phyllis have both recently retired from working/teaching in Bush Alaska for the last 17 years.
