As a licensed psychologist, I work with adolescents and adults who have psychological and emotional health concerns. My goal is to help you learn about yourself by exploring feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. Psychotherapy can help you take control of your life and manage personal and relationship difficulties with healthy coping skills.

What do practicing psychologists do? Practicing psychologists have the professional training and clinical skills to help people learn to cope more effectively with life issues and mental health problems. After years of graduate school and supervised training, they become licensed by their states to provide a number of services, including evaluations and psychotherapy.
At some time in our lives, each of us may feel overwhelmed and may need help dealing with our problems. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, more than 30 million Americans need help dealing with feelings and problems that seem beyond their control -- problems with a marriage or relationship, a family situation, or dealing with losing a job, the death of a loved one, depression, stress, burnout, or substance abuse.
Psychotherapy is an investment in your current well-being and in your future. If you do not have health insurance, decide not to make an insurance claim, or if I am not on the provider panel of your insurance company, I will work with you to afford services. I offer psychotherapy on a sliding fee scale.
Please submit all paperwork AT LEAST two days prior to your first appointment. Failure to do so will result in rescheduling, as I will need to verify your insurance benefits before the intake. Please remember that YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FEES that insurance will not cover. Please utilize this list to ensure that all forms are submitted to me prior to your appointment.
