The Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition is the only independent non-profit research center of its kind with expertise in measurement and evaluation of nutrition-related programs. The Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition has selected four food banks as recipients of Rooted in Evidence, a grant and evaluation program designed to help extend programming and expand resources for food-insecure families.
The food banks will each receive $25,000, in addition to in-kind evaluation support. USDA selects Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition & Fair Food Network as leads for new national evaluation and technical assistance center for SNAP incentive and fruit and vegetable prescription programs. We are looking to fill research scientist, project manager and research associate positions.
