I just got my new Tesla back from San Luis Customs after they tinted the five windows behind the driver to make them darker, gave me much better UVA/UVB sun protection on the driver and front passenger door windows, and also darkened the very top of the windshield so that the sun that otherwise pokes through the middle no longer hurts my eyes. San Luis Custom has restored three of our cars so far, one more than once. Vintage or contemporary, San Luis Custom has the craftsmanship to rise up and make things perfect. I can't speak highly enough about the integrity of Gary and his company and the stellar quality of their work. Even when pressed to a deadline, San Luis Custom triumphs. I can't imagine taking our beloved cars to anyone else.

Gary was so helpful when my car got scratched and I came in to get an estimate on the weekend. Most of the auto body shops near me were closed for the weekend and I am a student who doesn't have much time during the week. Gary was friendly and efficient and even popped my front bumper back into place! I had a very good customer service experience with Gary and am more than pleased with the service thus far!

Gary really helped me out when I needed some work done on my bumper. He was very accommodating throughout the entire process. I also had an additional issue with the seal in my back window and not only did he recommend someone for me, but he also worked alongside that company as well so I wouldn't have to go back and forth between the two. I am soooo thankful for Gary and my experience here!

This review is definitely overdue but the work I had done here was amazing! Gary was so helpful and gave me such a great deal on the repairs I needed done. The work itself only took a few days and was done within an efficient time frame (it was raining so the fact that he got the paint done quickly was awesome). He worked with me on finding a price that worked within my student budget and was very helpful in explaining what was wrong and how he was going to fix the problem.

Gary from San Luis Customs took my car in on a Saturday morning after it was hit. He kept in contact with me the entire time and it was ready by Tuesday. He went above and beyond by making sure my car was cleaned before he sent me home it. Highly recommend!

San Luis Customs is a great group of guys - that do Great work! The owner Gary gave me a deal on my 3m window tinting that beat another 3m shop's price by over a hundred dollars! (For my 2018 Chevy Silverado LTZ Duramax 2500). Dave did a fantastic job installing the 3m Crystalline tint, and Max was kind enough to give me a ride to go shopping while the tint was being done. Looking around, they sure do some nice body work too! I will be back for them to do our Prius next!

These guys are great. Definitely the place to go for tint in San Luis Obispo. More affordable than the other tint shops around with great results and lifetime warranty. Would recommend!

San Luis Customs tinted our very large window that was receiving a lot of direct sunlight since we had to remove two trees that previously shaded the window. They were very helpful in guiding us to the right level of tint. They did not push us to use the most expensive tint. They were very professional, right on time and did a fantastic job. San Luis Customs inc. window tinting is very impressive. I owned a 97' Honda CR-V with windows tinted in that year. As time went on the window tint technology got better and the window tint on my CR-V windows declined. Fortunately, San Luis Customs inc. had a lifetime limited warranty on the window tint that was installed perfectly from window edge to window edge. After years of hot and cold weather conditions the tint was bubbled and beaten up but the tint was still attached edge to edge. Would have been a 5 star review if they had actually repaired my car fully and/or let me know that the repair they were doing would not be complete.
I came in with a bumper that had ripped off when I hit a curb that was too high. Came in as they were closing, glad the owner was being so helpful and nice about me leaving my car to be repaired the next day. This is the third time we've used Gary for tinting the windows at our home near the beach and we've found his work to be excellent. Good customer service and a great selection of tints. We wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

I can say nothing but great things about Gary and his crew at San Luis Customs. I had a complicated and difficult situation to deal with, and they were great at every step of the way. They provided excellent advice and know-how, made sure I knew enough to make good choices, went WAY beyond what was required to make sure my overall experience of fixing my car was quick, thorough, and--happily--economical. They saved me a ton of money by asking the right questions and offering me good choices. Plus they did excellent work--on time, as promised, within budget. These guy are top-flight professionals

I have never had to use an auto body shop for car repair, but if I ever do I would not hesitate to use San Luis Customs. I will tell you why. My friend got in a little accident with her car and took it to San Luis Customs. The damages on the car almost made this car a total. They went out of their way to get her car back on the road and in a very timely manner. Her car was as good as new! This is not a fancy place, they have been in business a long time and the guys really do great professional work and they are a friendly staff. Highly recommended!

I've dealt with Gary Finegan, the owner of San Luis Custome for over 8 years now. His team has done the window tint on at least 4 different cars of mine and, recently, all the windows on my home in AG. His pricing is always fair and his work, integrity and honesty are beyond reproach. I just had him repair some collision damage on my motorcycle. Excellent quality, reasonable charges and completed quickly. Can't say enough good things about Gary, his business ethics and his staff. I would not hesitate to use him for any tint work or collision damage repair. Nice to see this

This is a business lacking customer service in many facets. They are not able to keep appointments nor communication with their clients and fail to apologize when confronted with the inconvenience they cause due to this and continue to make lame excuses. They caused damage to my vehicle during service but could not accept responsibility and again, just made excuses and we're defensive. If you are looking for integrity and customer service, stay away.
