We teach an ancient art for modern times by using up-to-date natural body movement techniques that are safe and customized to all physical abilities. TaeKwonDo training also focuses on self-discipline and physical fitness. We teach real street self-defense techniques also used by law enforcement to protect themselves from physical attacks.
We focus on the development of empathy, kindness for others, and integrity of one's heart and soul to do what is right at all times, while also developing mental toughness that naturally comes with physical training in TaeKwonDo. TaeKwonDo training builds a students' ability to stand up for themselves, understanding their self-worth and appreciation for themselves as a whole person.

Services
Emmons' Taekwondo Academy has been serving the community since 1990 and offers the highest level of Taekwondo training. The owners Mr. John Emmons and Mrs. Gloria Emmons are the Chief Instructors of the school in Kissimmee. We are members of Taekwondo America, a national organization of martial arts with Taekwondo America schools across the nation.

We have been part of the Academy for a month now and the dedication and work they put to teach the kids is just amazing. My 7 year old is fascinated and committed. As a parent me and my husband love how they work on the values and respect. We love them!

I’m so glad we got our son involved at ETA. He started here 3 1/2 years ago and had an amazing journey. Our son earned his black belt this past August. If your looking for a great place for your kids, and yes adults too, look no further than Emmons Taekwondo Academy. Our son has definitely grown here, physically and emotionally. He’s learned more discipline and respect.

This place is absolutely the best. My son has been going there for over three years when he started off as a white belt. The instructors there take the time to teach all the students discipline, techniques, but also how to have fun. Mr. Emmons' is a great example of what an instructor should be. My son looks up to him and loves going there.

Mr Emmons is such an amazing figure of personal developent/betterment and a great instructor. I will admit I am biased towards Mr Emmons because of how much he has positively influenced my life. I was exremely prepared as a person for the Marine Corps. I honestly believe it gave me what I needed to get through. He does show no favortism, but he is fair and the utmost constructive in his criticism. Make the best decision today, go see Mr Emmons.

My son was a student of Mr. Emmons and his staff. He learned so much from them and was able to gain both physical and psychological growth under their guidance. Mr. Emmons shows no favoritism and gives constant constructive criticism. With that said, he does focus far too much of his efforts on his companies financial gain instead of his students personal growth. We wish you the best John and Gloria. Alexander will forever be a better and stronger person due to your efforts.
