Full Circle Recycle is a family owned and operated, large-scale organic recycling facility. It is located on the Barham's Farm in Zebulon, North Carolina where we have been recycling waste for decades. This does not mean we only recycle waste that was "grown organically" or waste that is "certified organic." ALL food waste is accepted here. We are equipped to handle commercial recycling of organic waste, utilizing a 750,000 gallon anaerobic digester. Call us today! The major reason for recycling organic waste is environmental.

Barham Farms is a family owned and operated business that has been in production since 1979. Julian Barham, with an engineering degree from North Carolina State University, decided in 1980 that he wanted to work full time as a farmer. He had worked as an engineer but being in an office wearing a suit and tie was just not for him.
We have a 750,000 gallon anaerobic digester, which means that we can recycle food waste on a large scale. This is why we are ideal recyclers for restaurant food waste and grocery store food waste. When organic waste comes in to our farm, the trucks carrying the waste are weighed at the weighing station.
We accept ALL food waste. It DOES NOT have to be "grown organically" or "certified organic." Basically, if it is organic (that is, once living) we recycle it! We primarily recycle food waste, such as food waste from restaurants and food waste from grocery stores. We are optimized to process food waste, such as spoiled food and other food waste from restaurants and grocery stores.
About 50% of household waste is organic and approximately 30% of all waste is organic. The problem with that is that organic waste that ends up in landfills is a major source of methane gas. The reason for this is because organic waste in landfills cannot decompose properly, since it is under tons of other kinds of waste and does not have access to air.
One purpose for recycling organic waste, such as restaurant food waste, and grocery store food waste, is to produce methane in a closed system to produce energy. This energy is used to warm our greenhouses for cucumber production. With the recycled organic waste, we are able to produce cucumbers year 'round.
