LGBTQ+ health including: initiation and maintenance of gender affirming hormone therapy, PrEP and PEP, sexual health, affirming PAP tests, HIV screening and management & preventive care.
Telemedicine allows for you, the patient, to access a doctor or other health care professional remotely via video-conference. Telemedicine can be used to help bridge the gap between appointments, so that you can access a health care provider at a time that you are otherwise unable to come in to the office.
Your insurance will be billed for your services. If there is a co-pay due or you do not have insurance, payment for services is expected at the time services are rendered. Westside Family Medicine does not directly provide after-hours medical advice. Such advice can be obtained through through your insurance, as most insurance companies have triage lines which provide 24 hour service.

DON'T go. I could only make an appointment from Klara which patients are not happy with. 1. They gave me wrong address. but no way to call them cuz if you call the office they wont answer the phone. you have to figure it out the correct address. 2. I have to re do the blood work. no one told me that i need to wait 4-5 wks after 1st blood work even when i get results from Klara. When i arrived at the dr office around lunch time (on time) without any food or drink in the morning, they told me you have to come back again. I came too earlier. I have to wait at least 4weeks. Why no one mention about

I’ve been with Westside Family Medicine for several years now (gone to all three locations which includes Harlem, UWS and UES) and it’s seem to be getting worse and worse.
The latest incident has made me a little upset. You can only book through the phone or their text messaging system (Klara). Called a few weeks before for a immunization shot but they can only schedule a visit a week out. Okay, scheduled an appointment a week before via Klara and they confirmed. Took the day off from work because I am not working in the city and remotely. The system even sent me a SMS and email to confirm

I’ve been a patient at Westside Family Medicine for years now. Over the years, I’ve seen several doctors and nurse practitioners on staff for everything from basic checkups, Ob Gyn, various illnesses, weight loss/physical fitness counseling and, most recently, for a severe depression.
I must say, I’ve had many doctors over the years and in different parts of the country (since I’ve moved around a lot.) and the Westside doctors and nurse practitioners are by FAR the most attentive, caring and communicative caregivers I’ve met. What I most appreciate is the philosophy of the practice.

Our family have been patients of West Side Family Medicine for the past 12 years. Our children have been seen and treated in all matters, from birth through adulthood, mainly by the extraordinary, knowledgeable founder, Dr. Bertie Bregman, periodically also by the other Doctors in the office, all of whom are always courteous and give serious attention and time to solve the issues and find the perfect solution. We are big fans and recommend this place for any preventive or medical care your family needs.

Drs. Bregman (both Bertie and Rachel) and their team are exceptional. Our whole family goes to them, both kids and adults, and they have literally helped saved our lives several times: once when my son had Kawasaki disease, twice when I came to them with unexplained illnesses, and they found me the perfect specialists. But they are also good at the day-to-day stuff: bacterial infections, colds, check-ups, and basic everyday health, helping all of us to see health holistically. It was Dr. Bregman who first suggested I try yoga. It's been 11 years now since then. I'm still doing it. They were excellent

I've been a patient of Westside Family Medicine since they opened (could it be over 10 years ago?!). I principally see Dr. Bregman but have also seen several other doctors and nurse practioners. I have also had appointments at all three of their offices depending on which is most convenient for me. I find the care, attention, and professionalism of the medical staff to be exceptional and am happy to have found this practice.

The office staff was quick and polite. The wait time was very brief. And, of course, most importantly, the doctor was clear, took time with me, and asked enough questions to figure out what two other doctors missed - that I had Rhabdomyolysis. Great diagnosticians. And great bedside manner - solved my mystery AND made me feel much better.
