In 1967, Dr. Hugh Mazzawi opened a dental practice in Snellville, the home of his beautiful new bride. Dr. Anne joined the practice after completing her dental education. Both graduates of Emory University School of Dentistry, the Mazzawis set out to bring the best in oral health care to rural Georgia.
Their plan was to care for the community, not just teeth. They did exactly that and along the way, instilled the same desire into their children. As the surrounding area grew and flourished, so did the practice. Patients became part of the family. Today, the practice consists of several of the original staff members, many new faces, and five of their children as well as their nephew.

Services
It is important for the cementation of your permanent restoration(s) to practice excellent oral hygiene while wearing the provisional (temporary). Resume normal brushing unless instructed otherwise. Modify flossing by pulling floss out to the side instead of pulling floss back up between your teeth.
Our practice places a huge emphasis on dental care for all. Because of this belief, we have always supported initiatives to bring dental care to underserved populations. Since the inception of their practice, Drs. Hugh and Anne were huge supporters of local organizations to provide oral health care.
Our doctors are committed to providing the best care possible. This means a commitment to educating ourselves on the newest technology and techniques in dentistry. At the same time, we strive to ensure those advancements are validated with research and are proven to be successful before implementing them into our practice.

Their waiting room imposes no health standards for COVID other than a single layer reading thermometer and a stray bottle of hand sanitizer kept near the front desk. Don’t trust any of the family owners; you will be leaving with a bigger bill and problems than what they’re worth whether they mess up your fillings or chip a tooth. I have been spoken down to and my very intelligence belittled because I wasn’t happy with an oral professional telling me he had no idea what would happen if he did or did not remove some teeth. His options were, get them all removed or leave. I had to argue with

I had 2 wisdom teeth extracted yesterday. I did a conscious sedation which means i was fully awake. To help with my nerves they gave me a few options. Needless to say, i had a great experience. Didn't feel a thing and i could tell i was in good hands. Dr. Ochoa was so gentle, and she did such an amazing job.i am healing up so well & so fast! So happy with my results!

The reviews here are absolutely correct. I hate going to the dentist, but these people make it a different experience. The people at the frount desk welcome you to the office like they are happy to see you and like their job. The dental assistants are always nice and make you feel as comfortable as possible and both doctors i have dealt with are professional in every aspect of the word. This is the go to place when you need a dentist.
