I have had back pain for over 10 years. I have been to spine drs and other physical therapists and have not received any help until now. Dr John at Lightport has worked wonders for me. When I first went to him, I could not walk for any longer than 5 minutes and could not stand for the same amount of time. I now have the ability to walk for an hour without pain. It is literally a life changer.
I also had an issue with my knee after a fall. Dr John’s rehabilitation, stretching and strength plan has helped restore my knee to become much stronger and usable.

Awesome place. Dr John is amazing. He is very knowledgeable and understanding. The entire staff make you feel very comfortable and everyone is always happy, it's a really a great atmosphere. Highly recommended, my injury has improved daily since my first appointment. During the recent stay at home orders, my therapy has been virtual with Marissa. She is really helping my recovery!

I once thought of Dr. John as a person who was genuine and always great with people. Then I was brought to reality and realized that Dr. John took advantage of my kindness and did not respect my boundaries. I know Dr. John means well, but I do not let anyone get beyond my personal space. Over time Dr. John gradually overstepped my boundaries, even when I was trying my best to tell him kindly. I had to be blunt in order for Dr. John to respect my personal space. My review is based on all my interactions with Dr. John. In January, I had a devastating injury to my left shoulder and was told by my doctor I would need surgery. The surgeon told me in order for me to have a positive outcome, therapy would be the most important factor. I work for a large medical corporation and see first hand how overbooked many physical therapist in the area tend to be. After an injury to my ear I started physical therapy at Lightport which I had worked at as a Massage Therapist. This is such a healing atmosphere and I am so happy as a patient as I was working here! They are kind caring and take time with everyone!! I felt safe in the pandemic coming in here since they took measures and followed all protocol! Healing is an understatement! Dr John,s knowledge of vestibular therapy was soo incredible. His staff was so welcoming and Yris has helped me beyond words! Healing is an understatement!!

I was suffering with elbow pain to the point that it was effecting the mobility of my hand. The pain was excruciating. I saw Dr, John on my first visit and he made me feel comfortable and confident that he could help me. I continued to go twice a week and I was treated by Iris. After the second week I started to have less pain and discomfort. Their treatment approach is unique and tailored to your needs. I still continue going for lower back issues as well.
