You can purchase a pass to use our grounds in the winter. We offer groomed trails for snowshoeing and cross country skiing, snow shoe rentals, sledding hill, and let's not forget our amazing restaurant and heated veranda seating. Our location, established in 1947 as the private Hastings Country Club, is now the Hastings Golf Club and the restaurant Hastings Public House.

We are a family restaurant! A place to call your second home, Hastings Public House features an Eclectic American kitchen with a classy casual feel. We hit the JACKPOT with Head Chef Steve Acensio. His flair for all cuisines, creativity, hard work, and passion for food and customer service makes our kitchen second to none! Steve is always coming up with new ideas and creating over-the-top delicious dishes.

I went there with 3 girlfriends. We sat outside. It was a very nice day to be outside. We had great service and food. My friend is gluten free and she was able to find something on the menu. I've been here before and had great service and food. My friends really liked it there also. I'll be back. Thanks for making it a good time.

Where do I even begin?? I love the patio that overlooks the golf course, beautiful view! Staff is incredible! And the food is delicious! My favorites are the public house nachos, cheese curds (must try the raspberry dip!!), mushroom alfredo with chicken, and the bistro filet medallions. But honestly I’m not sure you could go wrong with anything on the menu! Do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal! You won’t regret it!

Awesome place to hold an event for a large group! With several rooms and access to a private patio, there is no shortage of options for your party. We had great food/drinks and all of the details were well thought out. The owner, Nicole, was attentive and made sure everyone was comfortable and happy!

Delicious food. Went here a couple of times for lunch. Chef really knows his stuff! I got an adult Mac and cheese last time I went, it was better than I had even hoped!! The environment is beautiful as well and the bartender, Rodney was really easy to talk to. If you live in Hastings or anywhere near, check it out, you’ll probably want to be a regular at this place!
