Great Vietnamese food in Woodbury? No way, I thought, after receiving a recommendation about a new restaurant in town. But here we are in the pretty green-and-beige room at Thanh Tru C, listening to the soothing classical music on the sound system and thoroughly enjoying our food. We all have our biases, but now it's time for me to let go of the notion that the food at small ethnic restaurants won't be any good if the neighborhood is too nice.

We got take out the other night. Since the COVID struck this isn't the same restaurant. We got walnut shrimp and it was soggy. We also ordered sweet and sour chicken, it was big chunks of deep fried chicken strips. Not quite enough sauce sent along. We arrived at the time they said the food would be ready. We got home and our food was barely warm.
Obviously it was ready before we picked it up. The food is not of the standard it was on the past.This restaurant is only take out no eat in any longer. We won't be back for awhile.

It's take out only, my mom and I didn't know that until we showed up, however when we walked in they were very accommodating, they took our order and let us sit while we waited. I've always loved their food, and today they did amazing.
For everyone on here complaining about early closing times, or the lack of a dining room, how about you either shut up or apply for the job to help out.
I love this restaurant.

We really enjoy getting food from here. Quality is high and tastes yummy. Love being able to order both Vietnamese and Thai food; we often are split on what we want (and can satisfy both sets of cravings!). I saw mention of this place on Facebook a couple weeks ago. We have now ordered twice in one week. It is fabulous! The special garlic fried rice is hands down the best fried rice I have ever had. We have tried several other dishes this week and all of them are great. We will definitely be ordering from here often!

I ordered the following four things last night:
Veg spring roll: . If I could give negative, I would. It had some awful non-description brown stuff, pretending to be grated fried tofu. Had absolutely no flavor. The dipping sauce was also just terrible. Same thing from Bambu in pakdaae is 100x better.
Budha delight: Again one star. The flavors were very much lacking
Veg fried rice: . Good flavors. Worth the money. Nothing out of the "meets expectations "
Tofu pad Thai: Same comments as veg fried rice - meets expectations.
Overall, not a place I would go again. Last

We found this little place while visiting the Salt Room. The place is really clean and we were greeted warmly and quickly seated. The owner cares about making sure he food is crab and healthy. We ordered pho and she said that they remove as much fat as possible. The broth was really clear and light. Not much of an anise flavor like I prefer but otherwise it was great. I ordered extra veggies in my pho ga and wasn't disappointed. Their egg rolls are pretty amazing too. We will be back again soon.

Came in with the family for dinner. It looked like there was a line when we first entered. It was awkward since we thought we had to wait at the front by the counter to get seated. Regular customers would side step us and get seated before us. The counter person was nice and helped us after she finished helping the customers before us.
This is my third or fourth time here over the past 12 years. If you are in the suburb and craving pho, this is one of the places you can go. If you can make it to the twin cities, I would recommend going there instead for pho.

This place is quiet and cozy. It has authentic Vietnamese food. I've tried the pho here and it's good. Also had the chicken and shrimp pad Thai and it's alright compared to the real one at Ruam Mit in downtown St. Paul. The portions are decent. However, the egg rolls here are horrible. I don't know how often they change the deep frying oil but the ones I got were burnt and super oily. See the picture. I will come back here but won't order egg rolls ever again.
