In order to ensure you receive the maximum benefit from your insurance, one of our financial coordinators will discuss the coverage you are due, then will also help you schedule your procedure at a time convenient for you. In order to make this process go smoothly for you, please bring the following to your initial visit.
After determining a plan of treatment, we will do our best to provide you with an estimated cost prior to your surgery. The patient's estimated payment is to be made at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and CareCredit. It is the patient's responsibility to provide our office with complete and accurate insurance information.

Took my daughter to this Dr. for wisdom teeth removal. After an hour and a half Dr. Allen said he could not do it. I was taken out to the parking lot. They were already waiting on an exit door there to hand me my daughter. They handed me a girl with so much anesthesia on her that she did not know what was going on. She was totally distraught. He handed me a prescription for antibiotics because he did cut his gums, but did not extract any of them. They just put her in my vehicle and had me take her back home in that condition. I thought she was dying.

I was referred to Dr. Allen by my orthodontist, for a tooth extraction and bone graft. The whole thing, from start to finish, was as good an experience as anyone could hope for. The facilities are clean and modern, with up-to-date machinery and software, and Dr. Allen is pleasant and reassuring in his manner. I now have to go back for a second extraction and bone graft (unrelated to the first), and I scheduled with him without hesitation.

This man should not practice medicine. My sister weights about 120 pounds 5’3 and this guy gave her 3 times the normal anesthesia dosage for an adult. In what world does this make sense? He is by no means a professional, also did not write the incident report he was obligated to to account for the one hour my sister was in the office. Once my family told him that they were planning on getting another doctor he turned hostile and rude. I would not go for any procedures to this dentist. Don’t waste your time here, make sure your family gets seen by someone who is correct and honorable.

Anyone near Pomona, California should highly consider Dr. JOHN Allen. He is kind, considerate, efficient, personable and knows how to make your recovery expedient. His office staff is friendly, prepared and helpful. They follow ALL COVID guidelines so you feel safe! I'm 1000% impressed! And I write this only 6 hours after a tooth extraction and bone graft. Dr. Allen is highly skilled and you can tell he loves helping others.

I had to have my 4 wisdom teeth removed and like anyone else I was terrified. I was referred to Dr. Allen by my dentist. Upon arrival the first thing I noticed was how clean everything in the office was. Dr. Allen and his staff are very friendly. They took the required X-Rays to evaluate my case. Dr. Allen explained everything thoroughly and didn't every pressure me to make an appointment. I waited until I was ready (because I was scared) and then finally made the appointment. Surgeon told me he was going to check with my dental insurance and my medical insurance, to see which options work best for me. It's been months now and I've yet to hear back. I've called the office several times and it just rings and rings. The few times I have gotten someone on the phone they just seem clueless and tell me that they will investigate and call me back. I've yet to get that call. I shouldn't be the one to chase them down or remind them about me. Horrible experience and don't recommend this place to anyone. It's been a complete waste of time.

Dr. Allen made me and my daughter feel very comfortable - Did a through evaluation and explained the surgery process from start to finish. General Anesthesia is a serious thing and I was very comfortable with him from the beginning. His front staff checked on Insurance coverage and told me our patient portion. Spoke with Claudia a few times on the phone and she was pleasant. On the day of surgery - they were on time. Jessica assisted with check in

I had to get 4 molars removed in order to get braces, 4! As an adult I thought this would be the worst part about braces, but honestly it's been the easiest part thanks to Dr. Allen.
The consultation was great and he was informative. Also, he's funny and makes a scary place not so scary. Surgery went well and staff was great. You might be a little loopy after surgery. No pain at all. I'm also a very slow healer but I healed surprisingly fine. And as others have said he provides his cell phone in case of any emergencies.

I recently took my mother to Dr. Allen's to have three of her wisdom teeth extracted and Dr. Allen was wonderful. My mom is typically nervous around dentists, but Dr. Allen and his staff won her over with their warm demeanor, patience, and professionalism. Dr. Allen put my mother at ease with his humor and clear explanation of the procedures with some assistance from the staff due to my mom being primarily Spanish speaking.

Started my day feeling confident about my procedure for my wisdom teeth removal appointment I had set for 10am. While waiting an elderly gentleman who was waiting for his wife got ill. The Dr and his staff jumped into action and began checking out the driver of the patient. Dr. Allen was apologetic with the incident and assured me they they would be with me shortly. I was ask to come to the back where I was taken care for my procedure and out in less than 30 minutes.

First timer for Astrids dental surgery!! Wisdom roofs (4) come out today! Nice office, wonderful customer and patient service!!! Very clean office and I am loving the "Driver's Lounge" because of the comfy seats, coffee, water and for the fact that I can change the tv channels or hook up to their free wifi as I wait for her. The feel here is very modern and I really like how they explained the billing.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Allen for a wisdom tooth extraction consultation. To my horror, I was to have all four taken out! I was terrified, and I stalled, but my dentist convinced me that Dr. Allen was great. I knew I had to do it, so I followed through.
After having heard a mix of both horror and success stories of friends who have had the procedure, I prepared for the worst, but hoped for the best. I am happy to say that Dr. Allen made this a smooth experience for me. He reassured me that I would be fully sedated from the anesthesia and therefore would not be at all aware of the procedure

I was referred here from my periodontist (Dr Daniel Gardiner in Upland.). I had a painful tooth that had a previous root canal.
I have been extremely pleased with Dr. Allen's care. Panoramic X-ray showing that the tooth was not viable and needed to be extracted.
Dr. Allen was very professional and patient with my many questions during the consult, and before and after extraction today. Thanks to Dr. Allen and staff.

So far, fantastic process and care. My daughter is having all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. After the healing I'll update the review. First found this on Yelp so I went in to check it out really liked the service the doctor is a really great guy I'm am however disappointed because I made an appointment and had to reschedule due to a new job and I had to reschedule again today it's unavoidable they do ask for 48hrs notice (other wise $50 charge) and both times I have 1 week advance notice and now they are telling me that will be the last time I can reschedule that is terrible since they were circumstances that are unavoidable and I'm not messing with them I'm just disappointed so far but I do hope everything
