Pomona dentist, Dr. Bhavin Changela graduated from GDCH, India in 2000. After moving to California he immediately attended University of Pacific (UOP) to complete California Dental Board examinations. He would complete certificate course in straight wire orthodontics from Progressive Orthodontics. Dr. Changela then attended special course provided by Boston Implant Institute for surgical implant and reconstructive surgeries.
General Dentistry covers an extensive range of dental procedures and treatments. This includes dental examinations, digital x-rays, CAT scans, etc. Usually, general dentists uses different types of methods such as x-rays and extensive tests to determine what is it your experiencing before treating your teeth.
The basis of sound dental care is routine cleaning and maintenance. We customize cleanings on the basis of your periodontal, (gums and bone), health. We utilize medicated gels along with prescription mouth rinses in problem areas if necessary. Ultrasonic scalers are sometimes used to make the procedure more comfortable and effective as well.
Wisdom teeth or our third molars, are the last teeth to pop out right at the back portion of our teeth. They usually emerge between ages 17 to 25. Although some of us may expect more than that. When they do grow out, they can cause tremendous pain and require tooth extraction. As molars start growing, they also start affecting other teeth by becoming impacted or by growing sideways.

Dr. Bhavin Changela and staff are awesome. Very warm and friendly staff. Dr. Changela has a very light touch. I am a big wuss when it comes to going to the dentist. They made me feel really comfortable when I got my procedures done. I would recommend this dental office to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience! Possibly the best dental experience of my life. My dentist was very kind and caught six cavities from one x-ray that my previous dentist never caught in six years. Rates were affordable and I was back to eating a day later. No pain and they did a lovely job! Five stars for sure.

I went to Pearl to have them check my crown as I had a piece come off and was very pleased with the results. They took x-rays and I was told all was OK and I did not have to have it replaced it was solid and would be ok. They were friendly and efficient and did not add any extra costs. I definitely recommend them. The cost was very affordable.

I randomly picked Pearl Dental Care when I needed to chose a dentist with my insurance. Then, I was super impressed how amazing job they do. Dentists are great, really gentle and caring to their patients but also the staff is the same, too, very helpful, kind and calm. So now all my family get their dental care at Pearl Dental Care and we all love the care we receive here. I highly recommend.

This dental office is amazing! The dentists are very kind and explain everything to you in detail and they don’t try tricking you into doing more then you need. The dental assistants are all very nice. The work I had done to my teeth was painless and quick. I never felt uncomfortable the entire time. I like this place a lot and will be referring my family and friends.
