Dr. Kwan received a B.S. in biology from UCLA, magna cum laude, and completed his medical training at USC. He executed an internship at the University of Rochester Medical Center and returned to Los Angeles for a residency at UCLA. He became the Chief Resident of dermatology at King/Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles and then opened his current practice in San Francisco, California.
Liz Phillips is a NCCPA board certified Physician Associate (PA), who specializes in the field of Dermatology. A born scientist, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at UCLA and then worked as an associate chemist at Medtronic Inc. in Northridge, CA.
Realizing her passion to practice medicine and help others, she returned to school and obtained her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Western University of Health Sciences.After graduating in 2015, she trained extensively in the field of dermatology and has been in the specialty ever since.

Rosacea is a chronic skin disease that is characterized by redness of the face. It can also appear on the neck, scalp and chest, although these are less common. Meh. Was seen for a rash, that was all over my body. Didn't even tell me what it was just gave me steroid cream. When I asked her if it was pregnancy safe she practically rolled her eyes at me and it was like I bothered her with my question. Saw me for 2 seconds charged me an arm and a leg. Then their online portal is a joke, their bill pay is also a joke. Been on hold with them for almost 15 mins trying to pay my bill. You'd think the amount of marketing and high charges they'd hire more people to answer the phone. I also don't remember who I saw because she didn't tell

This office is great. I followed Dr. Litchfield from Ladera around 10 years ago! The office is gorgeous but more importantly, I trust Dr. Litchfield and Dr. Casimiquella to check my moles once a year. I am super fair with a lot of So Cal beach sun damage and this ritual is super important to me. They are great. On the advice of Dr. Casimiquella, I recently did a VBeam cosmetic laser on my always red super sun damaged chest and the results are fabulous, The PA, Liz did it for me and what a fun girl. Loved her!! I love this office and highly recommend them.

We have been patients for several years. We have seen both Dr. Litchfield and more recently my children have seen Dr. Casamiquela. I have also seen Mary Joan for Botox and my children regularly see Rebecca for facials. Natalie at the front is always friendly and professional. The physicians are thorough and caring and great at what they do. I have worked healthcare for years and am very picky. The office is clean and beautiful. I referred family and friends to this office regularly.

I have been getting relentless spam messages on my phone from them via text and calls. There is no opt out option. The service from the physician was good however, whomever they have contracted with for business advancement is making them look very bad. In fact, the one text came from a HI phone number when the office is in OC: "Oh what a tangled web we weave/When first we practice to deceive"

I see that I've never left a review for this place and it is long overdue. we've been going here for years. We love both doctors and have had nothing but great experiences here. They ask you found a melanoma that I had to have removed the entire process including the referral to the plastic surgeon was amazing.
I see some negative reviews and think these people are very very off. I cannot believe they want to try to hurt somebody's business and make a negative review over such trivial things. I recommend that you ignore these negative comments and see for yourself. I love Dr Litchfield

This was my vey first visit to this office. My appointment was with Dr. Casamiquela. First a nurse or technician (who appeared to hate her job) came in to ask me a few questions and left. For the next 30 minutes past my appointment time I was left to stare at a wall. During this time I was rather disgusted with the lack of hygiene on the floor. Floors were dirty with other people's hair and other debris. I got up and left this disaster of a practice. Total waste of time. Also, one would think that the doctor would call to apologize given that she had the time to do so. Yet another indicator

I came in for my first visit here on a recommendation from a family member. I needed some skin tags removed, I've had it done before, but this was by far my greatest experience. In the height of the COVID pandemic, and heightened awareness this practice was clean, the staff was friendly and all wearing their masks. The patients were spaced out in their appointments so we weren't all on top of eachother in the lobby. Checking in and checking out were seemless. I had an amazing experience, the office was clean and friendly. I wanted to get my moles and spots checked as I had never had them checked and I am 50yrs old with fair skin, hair and eyes.
My wait time was less then 10 min and once the DR started the exam it was quick thorough and I felt like I was her only patient.
I then asked her to remove a few skin tags and she did in the moment.
I will return and just sent my husband there.

I was so disappointed with my experience with Dr. Litchfield. She came highly recommended by several people. I had a faint sunspot on my face that she said I should have burned off. It ended up leaving a much more noticeable spot in my face and I was blamed for not caring for it properly. I went to get a second opinion from another dermatologist who confirmed that there was nothing on my part that contributed to it. I will not be returning to her practice.

So I am a pasty, fair-haired, over 40 white guy with Norwegian, Irish, Scottish and German roots. I also grew up right on the beach in sunny North Florida and surfed every day up until my late teens. What this equates to is many skin problems on a regular basis as an older adult.
I have been treated by several dermatologists here in Southern California, Texas, Nevada and my home state of Florida. Eventually, I was referred to Dr. Litchfield's office by my GP for an unusual skin condition (which seems to be the norm with me). I was treated by Dr. Hiscox and found him very thorough and personable

Not sure what happened to Dr. Hiscox but I was defaulted to him last year when Dr. Litchfield couldn't see me (as a new patient). My husband and I started seeing Dr. Hiscox. Loved him and his demeanor. I call today to schedule and was informed he "is no longer at this office and will not be coming back" I attempt to schedule for my husband and was advised Dr. Litchfield has a 3 month wait? Really? I understand we were patients of Dr. Hiscox but it would have been really helpful if we could still be seen as patients of This office and not just Dr. Hiscox. I understand this

Heather fabulous experience at this dermatologist Jamacian point Mary Joan is amazing! Sheigh is the best injections. You can hardly feel them at all. This facility is ultra modern and what I love about it and most is it is extremely clean. The rooms are all white and I can't imagine how hard it is to keep clean but they do a phenomenal job because there is nothing dirty in the entire place. I have been searching for a dermatologist and I found Dr. Litchfield on Yelp. I am so glad I tried it. Having Melanoma, I am quite anxious about skin checks.
I now go very often for a full skill check. I am so grateful for Dr. Litchfield. She is patient, understanding, kind, and most of all thorough. She listens and understands that I am anxious, so tends to be more aggressive since that's what I want.
