Sometimes being a party in a Family Law case is akin to sitting in a sinking boat, thinking it couldn't get any worse, and then it begins to rain and you realize you were wrong. That has been our experience for the past 5 years. You get so used to building up hope and expectations only for that hope to be shattered, the expectations to fall short. The toll it takes is immeasurable, reaching into multiple aspects, financial, emotional and physical health, career, additional family dynamic. We found ourselves recently sitting on the edge of yet another sucker punch, when the winds of change finally
