Services
We are recognized for our commitment to enhancing the balance between humanity and nature. I *love* my new yard design. Dickerson Landscaping did a great job from start to finish. And this was a tough one, too. I am not wealthy, so I knew I'd have to plan for stages of work to be done. Well, they came through on every count: a totally creative and wonderful design, that is easy-care and, looks *great* year-round.
Spring is in the air THANK GOODNESS! After all the rainy, cold weather it looks like we're in for a beautiful and bountiful season! If you haven't already done so, it's time to spring into action and get your yard summer time ready with some good spring cleaning!
Compare your to-do list with ours and let us know your thoughts: Clean gutters, pull weeds, remove dead leaves, prune dead wood, sand down and/or clean patio furniture, pressure wash (anything and everything nailed down!), scrub the grill, stain and/or paint fence, barn, shed, etc., mulch, plant bulbs (try planting a few bulbs each weekend for staggered growth and prolonged enjoyment), plant peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, clean out bird bath and feeder and refill.

Another common question we get asked by homeowners is how often they should water their plants and trees. Many who inquire are hoping our answer will be universal; however, when it comes to how often to water and the amounts needed, each plant and tree species have specific requirements.
In today's column, we'll take a quick look at the different watering factors to consider, along with checking soil conditions, times to water, and general watering guidelines.Being that annuals, perennials, and newly planted trees, and shrubs are common here in Tallahassee and Leon County, we'll briefly cover general watering instructions too.

Florida State University's reservation on Lake Bradford for swimming, kayaking, canoeing and sailing. Over one thousand acres of natural trails, gardens, picturesque walkways, reflection pool, offering swimming and canoeing on Lake Hall. Florida weather is hard on outdoor wood structures. Protect your investment by having Dickerson Landscaping seal your deck, arbor, fences, and outdoor furniture.
Bahia grass (Paspalum notatum Flugge) was introduced from Brazil in 1914. It was originally used as a pasture grass on the sandy soils of the southeastern United States. Additional varieties have been introduced since that time for use as lawn-grasses. Bahia grass is a popular low-maintenance lawn-grass for infertile soils.

I don't believe in luck, I believe in trust and understanding, I've been with MRS MICHELLE MIDRED for some YEARS and I've made good amount of money with her simple strategies of trading. Meeting with her has been the best experience that has happened to me in this past few months and I'm expecting yet another payment from the broker. We are extremely pleased with the beautiful landscaping William and the Dickerson crew did last month. Part of our prior landscaping was destroyed by fallen trees and William created a new plan that incorporated new plants and trees with existing landscaping. It now has a new fresh look but all blends together beautifully!

I had a vague idea of what I wanted for my front yard that I shared with William. In short order he came up with a design that captured my vision. A reasonable estimate was made and a contract was signed. William arrived with a three man HARD WORKING crew to transform my front yard into an entirely "new look". Work was done fast and professionally with the finished product mirroring the design. The entire team was a pleasure to have handle my project. All debris was removed and I was left with the "new look" I wanted.

These guys really saved my butt. Got a notice from code enforcement in the mail for "overgrowth" and stated it would be reinspected on Saturday. Problem was I only check my mail once a week and by then the notice was about 11 days old. Tried Grass Monkeys but no one ever picked up or returned by call going on 4 days now. Does anyone still work at that company?
Anyway, called Dickerson and they were able to do the job the same day and I was very pleased with the result. They even swept my porch! While they do not take Discover they do take checks and that check is in the mail. 5 stars!

I can honestly say I have never dealt with such a disorganized and rude company. In the beginning we had great service from Dickerson's and then it continued to go down hill. The only nice people were the maintenance crew and irrigation team. The landscape crew and owner acted as if they could not care less whether we were happy.
We had the… company install a sprinkler system and do a major landscaping project of the whole yard in October 2014. Each time we spoke to the landscape staff we talked about what to do if issues arose due to run off (the point of the project) or the sod not taking
