If you've been living with chronic tooth pain or recently noticed a toothache, this is often due to damage, decay, or infection, either on the surface or in the roots of the tooth. Signs you may have a dental emergency include a sharp pain when biting or chewing, facial swelling, swollen gums around the painful tooth, or any other symptom of a dental abscess.

The most likely location for a cavity to develop in your child's mouth is on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth. Dental sealants are invisible plastic resin coatings that smooth out the chewing surfaces of the back teeth, making them resistant to decay. A sealed tooth is far less likely to develop a cavity, require more expensive dental treatment later on, or, most importantly, cause your child pain.

The best dentist in Milwaukee! Dr. Putney is incredibly knowledgeable, and explains the steps along the way which is very comforting. His staff is exceptional too; I've never experienced better bed-side manner. I told them I was a little trepidatious about the oral shot and his assistant calmed and reassured me entirely. The whole time I felt cared for and in great hands.

I am terribly anxious when going to the dentist, so much that I haven't seen one in 3 years. I was hesitant to go but needed work done and came to this location. The staff and doctor were very understanding and comforting through my many procedures that followed after my initial visit. I highly recommend them for people that have any anxiety towards dentists!!!

I started seeing Dr. Putney in August of 2018. I thought things were going well, until I received a bill for $1080 in January of 2019. No one told me that my insurance benefits had run out and I was paying out of pocket for 3 fillings on October 31st 2018, which were not bothering me and I could of waited until January 1st to have this done. Then one of the cavities/fillings started bothering me after the work was done. Then I was told I needed to have a root canal. So apparently, I am expected to pay for the filling and the now root canal that needs to be done. I have never been to a dentist

Outstanding work done by Dr Putney and his assistants. They made a rough removal of baby molar a smooth removal for my 12 yr old with no complications. This was an abnormal baby molar that luckily had a cavity causing pain to prompt removal otherwise it was going to keep growing even longer roots around the adult molar underneath. Dr Putney explained the process of removal so well to my 12 yr old saying "it's going to be like removing a fence post out of the ground & having to wiggle back & forth" so my son was ready. All of us were amazed at the size of the roots & how whole this tooth

So I have been going by Dr. Putney for a few years. I have only needed a cleaning until this week. I managed to break one of my teeth. Dr.Putney got me into his office quickly and fixed the tooth with zero pain. No joke! I have always had some kind of pain or discomfort with my other dentist, not this time. I can't thank him enough so I thought I would write him a review to let everyone know about his good work.
