All orthodontists must be licensed to practice, but at this time only 1 in 3 orthodontists have continued on to become a board certified orthodontist. The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) certification process signifies a unique achievement-a significant step beyond the two to three years of advanced education required for a dentist to become a specialist in orthodontics.
Your new patient consultation is designed to be an informative visit. We may take two digital orthodontics X-rays at the beginning of this visit to allow Dr. O'Neill to determine the course of treatment required and to share with you the details of the prescribed treatment plan.
These X-rays are used as a diagnostic tool for the doctor's use only; they remain the sole property of the office and will not be distributed without the consent of the patient or the patient's legal guardian.The customary consultation fee is waived. Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment to allow time to process these forms in the office.

Please contact us for our current PPO participation information or if you have any questions. It's possible for some patients to extend payments up to 48 months, well beyond their treatment. O'Neill Orthodontics was started with the belief that orthodontic care should be accessible and affordable to everyone.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that most children should have an orthodontic screening by age 7. This allows Dr. O'Neill to determine if orthodontic treatment will be required and the best time for the patient to be treated. Many of the dentists in our community have been trained to identify orthodontic problems early, and may refer you to our office earlier than age 7.
Two-phase orthodontic treatment is a very specialized process that encompasses tooth straightening and physical, facial changes. The major advantage of a two-phase treatment is to maximize the opportunity to accomplish the ideal healthy, functional, esthetic result that will remain stable throughout your life.

Dr. O’Neill and her staff are the best! They are friendly and treat each patient with such care. We had been to another office and felt like we were just a number. But Dr. O’Neill took time with us and made sure we are receiving the right care for each of our children. I highly recommend this office!

Dr. O'Neill is amazing! As an adolescent I was told by many dentists and orthodontists that I would need a full set of braces top and bottom for four years along with bite plates and possibly head gear at night to fix my very crowded teeth. The cost was too much for my family at the time, so it took until I was an adult before I could receive care which could make things even harder. I finally found doctor O'Neill when I was 29 and she was able to fix my teeth in just 2 years with a full set of braces and no bites plates or headgear. I am so happy I found her and her wonderful staff they are all

Beginning in 2008, my children were under the amazing care of Dr. O'Neil and her staff. Today, my children's teeth are beautiful and the need for second and third retainer was easily remedied. I always said that someday, it would be my turn. Well, in 2014 it was time. Dr. O'Neil and staff were very supportive. During the process, we laughed, joked and enjoyed each others company while my teeth were being bonded, re-positioned and tenderly cared for.
